Call of Duty: Warzone complete map detailed by Infinity Ward

Call of Duty: Warzone is out as of this Tuesday, and players are rushing to be the first to try the free-to-play battle royale game. To help them along, the team at Infinity Ward has produced an official strategy guide, and it comes complete with a massive interactive map.

These kinds of interactive maps have been a staple of the survival multiplayer genre since DayZ was just a mod for Arma 2 and it seems Infinity Ward is taking on the responsibility of keeping this one updated, rather than having to rely on the community.

Hackers in Escape From Tarkov skip shooting, turn into invisible pick pockets instead

Survival shooter Escape From Tarkov has had technical issues since its soft launch in 2017, and they’ve only become more apparent with its burst in popularity around the New Year. A new exploit making the rounds allows players to become completely invisible. The team at Battlestate Games says they’re aware of the situation, and are working on banning the cheaters and tamping down the issue in their code. Nevertheless, videos showing the exploit are popping up all over Reddit and elsewhere.

Tarkov began gathering real momentum, rising up the ranks on Twitch and elsewhere, in January. Many high-profile Twitch streamers have moved over to playing the game exclusively, which in turn has led to more sales for the Russian team from Battlestate Games. It’s no wonder then that hackers have showed up on the scene to spoil people’s fun, and skin a little bit of cash for themselves off the top. A simply search on YouTube shows live demos of multiple hacking clients up for sale. The latest exploit added to the mix is particularly creepy, however, and players are seemingly helpless against it.

Neil Gaiman’s Sandman series gets a fancy box set ahead of its Netflix adaptation

Neil Gaiman’s iconic comic series Sandman is getting a fancy new box set. The collection is housed in a slipcase featuring illustrations by Dave McKean, cover artist for the Sandman series and most of its spinoffs. In addition to all 10 trade paperbacks, the Sandman box set includes the prequel, Overture, the anthology, Endless Nights, and the tie-in novella, The Dream Hunters.

Sandman was originally conceived as a revival of DC’s dream-powered superhero, though Gaiman’s interpretation shares little in common with the cheesy 70s character who wears tights and a cape. Gaiman’s titular Sandman is alternately known as Morpheus, The Shaper, and many, many other names. Morpheus and his six siblings — Destiny, Death, Destruction, Despair, Desire, and Delirium — make up the Endless, anthropomorphized embodiments of powerful forces.

Meet the demon-slaying Doomicorn, one of Doom Eternal’s cosmetic skins

Doom Eternal, the sequel to id Software’s critically-acclaimed 2016 shooter, comes out on March 20. On Tuesday the developers released a short new teaser video, which focuses on the fact that the game will have cosmetic skins. But it also revealed an abomination unlike anything that fans have seen before. It’s called Doomicorn, and it is ... majestic.

The Doomicorn will be available exclusively to Twitch Prime members who opt to connect their Bethesda.net account to their Twitch account between March 20 and April 21. It also comes with something called the “Clip Clop Stance” animation, for use exclusively in multiplayer, as well as a “Magic Meadow base podium,” which sounds like an armor stand with which to admire the glory that you have wrought in your personal quarters. More details are available on the official website.

Nintendo and Lego team up for Lego Super Mario

Nintendo and the Lego Group are teaming up to make a new line of Lego toys based on the Super Mario franchise. Nintendo teased the collaboration on Tuesday — a day it calls Mario Day, because it’s March 10 — on Twitter, offering a frustratingly short preview of what’s to come.

“Something fun is being built!” Nintendo of America said on its official Twitter account. That tease was accompanied by a brief video featuring an animated Question Block on Mario’s chest and some rather unusual looking ... LED teeth? A similar “Stay tuned...” tweet from the Lego Group also teases a brick-based Mario, but offers a slightly more detailed look at the mysterious collaboration.

This Seinfeld game in Dreams is a real P.T.-style nightmare

This Seinfeld game in Dreams is a real P.T.-style nightmare

Usually when I hear the iconic Seinfeld bass line, I’m pretty jazzed, because it’s time to sit down and enjoy some quality television. In the Dreams game created by Rare Bird Interactive, that same musical cue sends chills down my spine. In Seinfeld: The Horror Game, players take the role of Jerry’s nephew, Donathan. It casts the New York comedy in a sinister light.

I first became aware of Seinfeld: The Horror Game from a Twitter post, which shows Donathan exploring Kramer’s apartment and getting murdered by a haunted Mr. Marbles. I don’t think I’ve seen every episode of Seinfeld but I’m pretty sure that never happened.
