Ubisoft says it’s investigating allegations of employee harassment and abuse

Publisher Ubisoft says it has launched investigations into allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct by its employees. In a statement released on Thursday, Ubisoft said it is dedicated to creating inclusive and safe working environments, but adds, “It is clear we have fallen short of this in the past. We must do better.”

Ubisoft says it is working with “external consultants” to investigate allegations. While the company did not name specific employees, Ubisoft confirmed on Wednesday that one high-profile staffer, Assassin’s Creed creative director Ashraf Ismail, was taking a leave of absence amid accusations of inappropriate behavior with women.

Tenet’s release date has been delayed again

Christopher Nolan would still like his latest movie, Tenet to be a key part of theaters reopening, but that’s being pushed back to August now instead of July. On Friday morning, Warner Bros. announced that it is delaying Tenet’s release a second time. The film is now set to hit theaters on Aug. 12.

Tenet’s first delay happened in early June, when Warner bumped the movie from July 17 to July 31. However, with cases of the novel coronavirus continuing to rise around the United States, it seems that Warner Bros. decided that any date in July is still too optimistic for the film’s release.

Chuck E. Cheese files for bankruptcy

Chuck E. Cheese, the arcade game and pizza franchise named after titular mascot Charles Entertainment Cheese, has filed for bankruptcy protection, according to a report by the Associated Press.

The decision comes from the prolonged closure of many of its locations, caused by safety measures due to the coronavirus pandemic. CEC Entertainment Inc. has since reopened 266 company-operated Chuck E. Cheese venues, but it’s no guarantee that the embattled pizza parlor chain will find success. Chuck E. Cheese was struggling before the pandemic, due to competitors like Dave and Buster’s.

The general public, on the other hand, hasn’t been as excited about the cockpits. Here’s why you should be paying attention to all those knobs and dials.

The game does not have a new release window.

Tales of Arise producer Yusuke Tomizawa said that the development team adapted to working remotely on the game amid the coronavirus pandemic, but that the team needed more time to realize its vision. Tomizawa said in a statement:

All the games that are Optimized for Xbox Series X

Xbox’s newest console is almost here, and one question on peoples’ minds is what exactly they’ll be able to play once the console arrives. On Thursday Microsoft gave players a little more insight into the answer to that question by explaining exactly what it means when a game is optimized for the Xbox Series X.

According to Microsoft, certain games will be designed specifically to take advantage of the Xbox Series X’s impressive technical specs. These games will get a special badge that says “Optimized for Xbox Series X.” Games with this badge will be specially designed to perform better on Microsoft’s next-gen console. Microsoft’s announcement says that the badge will indicate games that have been “natively designed or fully rebuilt to take advantage of the Xbox Series X.”

The tweet announcing the new doctor claims that he “cute,” but the giant molars at age 1 suggest otherwise. Dr. Baby Wario will arrive in Dr. Mario World on Friday, June 26, at 6 a.m. EDT, so you can get your early morning Wario fix.
