Animal Crossing fans are racing in mazes to win Raymond

Everyone wants Raymond, so when Animal Crossing duo Crunchy Island happened to get the infamous gray cat to move into their island, they thought to themselves, what would Nathan Fielder do? Give away Raymond in the most elaborate and absurd way possible, of course.

The duo that has spent over 400 hours constructing a maze in Animal Crossing: New Horizons cites comedy show Nathan For You as an inspiration for the ploy. In the show, fictional character Nathan Fielder “helps” real people by constructing deranged business plans, like only granting a rebate after a customer scales a mountain and solves a series of riddles.

Apex Legends’ new animated short shows off Rampart and her giant turret

Apex Legends’ newest character, Rampart, is on the way. After her reveal last week, Respawn Entertainment has continued to dole out slow and steady hints about her character and abilities on Twitter, but now we’ve finally got her animated Outlands short, called The Endorsement. It helped fill in a whole lot more about her backstory.

The short starts with Bangalore and Gibraltar hanging out at a bar and talking up Rampart’s skills with both wrenches and guns. Then, a small gang — who seem to be led by a mysterious new figure — shows up at Rampart’s mechanic shop in the middle of the night and Rampart jumps into action. She activates some of her shop’s defenses, including a heavy turret, but eventually she gets overwhelmed.

Call of Duty: Warzone’s latest patch brings some LMG balance changes

Over the last several weeks, light machine guns have become one of Call of Duty: Warzone’s most popular weapon types. But there were a few standouts in the class that outpaced everything else, and Infinity Ward has decided to step in to try to balance things out, at least a little.

This patch’s biggest changes are targeted at the Bruen MK9 LMG. The MK9 is a high rate-of-fire weapon, with low damage that’s more than made-up for by its great accuracy and impressive range. Unfortunately it’s range was a little too impressive, so Infinity Ward is cutting down on its damage range.

GTA Online’s richest players finally have something to do with their useless yachts

In Grand Theft Auto Online — and I guess, the real world — super yachts are the ultimate symbol of wealth. I mean, have you seen Below Deck? It just sounds like yachting is what rich people do. The thing is, yachting isn’t worthless in the real world. Sure, it’s extravagant, but it has a function. It takes you places! Unfortunately for the richest of the rich in GTA Online, that’s not the case. Super yachts in GTA Online don’t actually do anything.

Players can’t move the yacht themselves; instead, they can pay a captain $25,000 to do it for them. (Actually this is starting to sound a lot more realistic for the super rich.) Essentially, it’s an item people buy simply to flaunt their wealth, because yachts start at $6 million and only go up from there.

Red Dead Online is so broken right now, you can’t even shoot

A recent Red Dead Online patch meant to ameliorate some issues with the naturalist update has instead completely destabilized the game, according to players who are attempting to load into the wild west right now. The issues are vast, some plaguing the game in the past, and some completely new.

Many are reporting a complete lack of characters and animals populating their servers, making Red Dead Online into somewhat of a ghost town (which has been a problem in the past.) Horses seem to be the only friendly faces that players can count on right now, but often, the steeds are completely glitchy as well. Fans perusing the new update are sharing clips of invisible horses, horses that phase in and out of reality, horses that are on fire, horses that run in place, and more. It’s better than that time Red Dead fans kept encountering huge piles of dead horses, but not by much.
