When’s the best time (and the worst) to play Street Fighter 5 online?

Wake up game

If you want to play Street Fighter 5 online against other players and have the best chance of winning, play at 7 a.m. on the weekends. Don’t play at 2 a.m., unless you want to lose. That’s what the data from the Capcom Fighters Network says, Capcom’s Peter "Combofiend" Rosas said at today’s Street Fighter 5 panel at Evo.

In other words, players should probably play Street Fighter when they’re bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, not when they’ve come home from the bar a little buzzed, Rosas said.

Pokémon Go meets HoloLens with unofficial demo

A new take on the augmented reality game

Pokémon Go is only on iOS and Android devices for now, and has yet to launch in the majority of regions. Yet one team is already recreating the game for other hardware: the HoloLens, Microsoft's holographic headset.

CapitolaVR created a demo of how a Pokémon Go-style game would play on HoloLens, which you can watch above. It's just early concept footage, company head of digital David Robustelli told UploadVR, and there are no plans to work with Niantic Labs on porting the actual mobile game to the HoloLens, which combines a head-mounted display with mixed-reality technology.

Street Fighter 5 getting new Capcom Pro Tour and 'nostalgic' DLC

Throwbacks to Street Fighter 2 and 3 in the works, Capcom says

Street Fighter 5 is getting a batch of "nostalgic" downloadable content later this year, game director Takayuki Nakayama announced at a panel at Evo 2016 today.

Included as part of that DLC are new costumes for Ibuki and Alex based on their Street Fighter 3 outfits. Ibuki's familiar ninja costume and Alex's ending costume, complete with leather jacket, are in development, though Capcom says the release timing for both is still a secret.

Finding Pokémon Go's PokéStops just got simpler with Yelp filtering

We give this update five stars

Yelp has now added PokéStops to its search filter, the company announced in a blog post. That could be huge for Pokémon Go fans who have already begun flocking to cafes, bakeries and other places in search of Pokémon and items.

"As you head into a weekend full of wild Zubats and Charmanders, remember to open up your Yelp app or search Yelp.com for businesses with a nearby PokéStop," the pun-filled post reads. "To do this on mobile or desktop, simply search for a type of local business (‘bars,’ ‘restaurants,’ etc.), swipe through the filter options at the top, hit ‘PokéStop Nearby,’ and voilà! You can now find places to simultaneously run errands AND stock up on materials needed to catch that Eevee you’ve been eyeing."

Pokémon Go-themed Clinton attack ad is as lazy as you'd expect

Hashtag millennials for Trump

Well, it was only a matter of time before the U.S. presidential candidates started trying to capitalize on the nationwide phenomenon that is Pokémon Go. A new attack ad posted yesterday by Donald Trump imagines his opponent, Hillary Clinton, as a Pokémon to be captured and, presumably, locked away forever.

Clinton’s Pokémon name is, of course, "Crooked Hillary," and she’s listed as a Career Politician-type creature with a CP (combat power) rating of 1. The clip describes her as "often found lying to the American people, rigging the system, and sharing TOP SECRET emails." The ad also imagines Clinton’s next evolution as "unemployed."

Ana is the first post-launch hero to join the Overwatch lineup, and she's available to play right now on the Public Test Region servers, for the PC players out there; however, console players will have to be patient.

"Legacy" provides some additional color on Ana's backstory and her history with Talon operative Widowmaker. You can read the entire 10-page comic below or, if you'd prefer Blizzard's interactive comic reader and access to the previous six issues, you can find them here.

The secrets of the support page

Pokémon Go has faced privacy concerns since launch, the biggest of which developer Niantic Labs has addressed. Though Google users may no longer have to worry about Niantic accessing their full account datathe Consumerist pointed out that all players who agree to the game's terms of service have signed away their arbitration rights.

"Except if you opt out and except for certain types of disputes described in the 'agreement to arbitrate' section below, you agree that disputes between you and Niantic will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration, and you are waiving your right to a trial by jury or to participate as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class action or representative proceeding," the policy states.
