One Night in Karazhan is Hearthstone's next adventure, adds 45 new cards

As rumored last week, Blizzard announced the next addition to Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft tonight at an event in Shanghai, China. We've got the first details on Hearthstone: One Night in Karazhan.

That's a great place to start! As mentioned above, Hearthstone's new add-on is titled One Night in Karazhan. Per Blizzard, it contains "a groovy collection of single-player missions," as well as 45 new cards that you'll be able to use in regular ranked, arena mode and tavern brawls.

The most important thing to note is that this is an adventure, not a full expansion.

Take a nap on top of the sleepiest Pokémon

ThinkGeek is now taking pre-orders for a bean bag chair inspired by the sleepiest Pokémon, Snorlax. For $149.99, Pokémon fans can spend all day and night on a slightly smaller but no less adorable Snorlax plush.

The bean bag chair is four feet tall, making it shorter than the six-foot-eleven Pokémon’s in-game height. It’s also shorter than the $456 Japanese Snorlax cushion that starts shipping in August. That pillow is nearly five feet tall and weighs 26.5 pounds.

Just Sing is a new karaoke game from Ubisoft

No longer will you just dance

Ubisoft will release Just Sing, a new party karaoke game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, this September, the publisher announced today. The spinoff of Ubisoft’s popular Just Dance series will include more than 40 songs and — like Sony’s SingStar for PS4 — lets singers use their iOS and Android devices as microphones.

Just Sing is being created by iNiS, the Elite Beat Agents developer that later went on to make Lips and The Black Eyed Peas Experience singalong games. As pointed out in the game’s debut trailer, Just Sing gives players the option to sing or merely lip-sync. The game’s companion app for mobile devices also captures video, letting players show off on the big screen. Just Sing is also compatible with the PS4’s PlayStation Camera and Kinect for Xbox One.

Plus, what it's like for her as an actor now

Winona Ryder has had a very good year.

The actress — who remains best known for her work in '80s and '90s films including Heathers, Edward Scissorhands and Girl, Interrupted — had a supporting role in the Emmy-nominated mini-series, Show Me a Hero alongside Oscar Isaac, and a starring role in Netflix's recent Stranger Things. For Ryder, an icon of '80s cinema, heading to television and working on serialized programming wasn't just the next step in her career, but indicated a big change — and risk.

Codes going out for the Toybox demo today

Playtonic Games has released Yooka-Laylee’s Toybox demo, giving some backers a chance to get their hands on the platformer. Those who pledged at least £20 (about $26) to the game’s Kickstarter can now grab download codes to check out the pre-alpha version on Linux, Mac and Windows PC.

Announced in May, the Toybox demo is a self-contained, sandbox-style take on the game, meant to offer a glimpse at Yooka-Laylee’s platforming gameplay before its official release. An FAQ warns backers that it’s "only a small sample of the finished production — and visually incomparable."

Don’t mess with them

Dishonored 2 is defined by its two playable characters, Corvo Attano and Emily Kaldwin, and developer Arkane Studios explained today what sets the two of them apart beyond the obvious.

Harvey Smith, co-creative director on Dishonored 2, said in a Bethesda.net blog post that the development team designed Emily around three focal points: Dunwall, her home; empress, her title; and assassin, a role nurtured by her Royal Protector — and father — Corvo. Aside from the events of the original Dishonored, in which Emily at age 10 was kidnapped and later rescued by Corvo, she has lived a sheltered, privileged life in the city of Dunwall.
