Who even knows how the teens these days talk

Life is Strange, Dontnod's episodic, time-traveling teen drama, is one of the breakout hits of 2015. It was nominated dozens of times in dozens of categories; scored many Game of the Year awards from outlets and game industry institutes alike; it even won Facebook and Peabody's inagural digital media award.

But Life is Strange also received its share of criticism, of which there seems to be one that's stuck with one of the game's writers, Christian Divine: its use of the word "hella."

It’s fun for the whole family!

Entertainment Weekly has unveiled the new look for Pennywise the Dancing Clown as it will appear in the upcoming film adaptation of Stephen King’s 1986 novel It.

It was first adapted into a TV miniseries in 1990, which starred Tim Curry as Pennywise. The clown is one of the many forms taken by the shapeshifting, inter-dimensional being called It, who terrorizes a small town every 30 years and devours its children. The remake puts Bill Skarsgård, known for his roles in The Divergent Series: Allegiant and Hemlock Grove, in the clown shoes of the monster.

Still no official trailer yet

It wouldn't be a Call of Duty game without a zombie component, and the one accompanying Infinite Warfare this year looks like it's heading back to the 1980s.

In a series of unboxing videos from prominent YouTube personalities who received packages from Call of Duty publisher Activision, different items related to the zombie-level can be seen. Everything from old-school running shoes to a classic VHS tape that allegedly contains a trailer for the add-on came with the package, which remained on a timed lock until today. Included in the package was a map that refers to the level as "Zombies in Spaceland."

Gaming historian pieces together a puzzle found inside a few old bits of silicon

Frank Cifaldi, head of restoration at developer Digital Eclipse, former games journalist and unabashed pirate may have just taken possession a piece of video gaming history.

In a series of tweets yesterday, Cifaldi released details on a purchase he recently made of four circuit boards for the Famicom — the original Japanese version of the Nintendo Entertainment System, or NES. While he can’t verify if the physical artifacts themselves are authentic, he says that the code stored on them definitely is. And it just might contain the very first lines of code ever written by junior programmer Satoru Iwata, the man who would go on to be the president of Nintendo.
