Go back to Karazhan in World of Warcraft in two weeks

The next patch coming for World of Warcraft reintroduces Karazhan, the tower last occupied by Medivh, as a raid instance.

Karazhan will be a raid once the patch rolls out Oct. 25. It's classified at level 70, meaning, that players at or above level 95 should be able to solo it.

Karazahn is in the Deadwind Pass of Azeroth's Eastern Kingdoms. It takes on new importance in World of Warcraft's canon, beginning with The Burning Crusade. That expansion launches Oct. 28.

Resident Evil 7 teaser videos look a little more like Resident Evil

Shotguns! Item boxes! Inventory Tetris!

Resident Evil 7 biohazard is something of a departure for the series. It’s in first-person perspective and, so far, we haven’t seen much in the way of the game’s trademark zombies (or otherwise zombie-like creatures). But Capcom has promised that familiar Resident Evil gameplay tropes — green herbs, for example — will return in the new game, including one we can see today.

It’s brief — and part of a longer, 10-part video tease — but in one of two new clips released today, we see Resident Evil 7’s player character collect a shotgun from an item box and slot it into their grid-based inventory.

Destiny’s rewards are changing with next week’s Light increase, here’s how

Gear up with better rewards

Destiny developer Bungie will raise the game’s Light cap next week when it introduces the hard mode of Destiny: Rise of Iron’s raid, and with that increase will come a corresponding rise in the Light limit on rewards, the studio announced today.

The Heroic difficulty for Wrath of the Machine, the new raid, will go live next Tuesday, Oct. 18. The patch that brings in the new challenge, update 2.4.1, will be released at approximately 10 a.m. PT that day. In order give raid teams a fair shot at downloading the update and attacking Heroic mode, the new difficulty level won’t go live until 2 p.m. PT.

Wayward Sky is a charming PlayStation VR puzzle game you’ll want to play with others

The joy of social VR

“You are Bess, a young pilot flying with your father when you crash into a mysterious fortress that emerges out of the clouds,” the description for Wayward Sky, a $19.99 launch game for PlayStation VR, explains. “Your father kidnapped and plane in ruins, you set out to explore the fortress and rescue him.”

It’s story that is explained in the game’s opening minutes. Soon after, you’re using your Move controllers, or a DualShock 4 if you don’t mind giving up a bit of interactivity, to point Bess toward where she should go, or to jump down to her size and interact directly with different elements of the puzzle.

Anti-Trump ad campaign viciously slams Republican nominee as a Hanzo player

Turns out he’s a Hanzo main, and he’s terrible at it

We can’t say for sure if Donald Trump, ex-reality television star and current Republican presidential nominee, is an Overwatch player. But a billboard posted in Orlando, Florida this week has an idea of just what kind of Overwatch player Trump would be, and according to the poster’s creators at Cards Against Humanity, “Trump is Not a Team Player.”

That’s the name of an anti-Trump campaign launched this week by the company’s political action group, Nuisance Committee. While the Overwatch-themed billboard — which positions Trump as an arrogant Hanzo fan, one of the community’s most maligned, “spammy” types of player — is the most visible element of its sloganeering, the Committee’s website goes even further with the joke.
