Netflix is developing an English-language drama series based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher, according to a press release from production company Platige Image.

The Witcher series will be based on Sapkowski’s eight novels and story collections, the source material for CD Projekt Red’s video game series of the same name.

Toys R Us locations everywhere will be carrying limited quantities of the Nintendo Switch this Friday, May 19, a representative for the retailer told Polygon.

“All Toys R Us stores nationwide will have a limited inventory of the super-hot console” on that date, the spokesperson said. When we asked about online sales, the rep confirmed that the Switch units will be available only in Toys R Us stores, not through the retailer’s website.

Build-A-Bear Workshop’s Pokémon collection is expanding once more. Squirtle, the second-best member of the original starters, will be available online and in stores starting June 1.

Squirtle will come in two separate sets. The online-only package includes a pre-stuffed plush, a sound chip filled with Squirtle sounds, a raincoat (a curious choice for a water-type Pokémon), a hoodie inspired by an Ultra Ball and an exclusive Pokémon card. This bundle will cost $60 on the Build-A-Bear website. The raincoat and sound chip are only included with the web exclusive — and that raincoat is pretty dang cute:

It is one of four games from major Ubisoft franchises that are slated to launch in the company’s 2017-18 fiscal year, which ends March 31, 2018. The other three titles are an Assassin’s Creed game, South Park: The Fractured But Whole and The Crew 2, the company said today.

Based on the trailer Nintendo debuted during yesterday’s Fire Emblem livestream, Shadows of Valentia harkens closely to the 1992 original Fire Emblem Gaiden. As the Japan-only Famicom title’s name implies — “Gaiden” means “side story” in Japanese — the game deviates from the formula that more recent fans. Some of the most devoted Fire Emblem fans have detailed the most significants changes that this so-called experimental role-playing game brought about from its predecessor, many of which never returned in future games.

Dubbed an “Arms Direct,” this may be the last batch of new details we get about the game before it launches. The unique fighting game, a new property for Nintendo, will launch on June 16. It’s the next big title heading to Nintendo Switch, although its arrival at the tail-end of E3 2017 means we may have plenty more exclusives to be excited about by the time Arms arrives.
