The Crew 2, sequel to Ubisoft's open-world racer from 2014, was revealed at the publisher's E3 keynote with a high concept trailer showing well more than just cars racing.

Pretty much anything with an engine is going to race in The Crew 2. Airplanes, dirt bikes, boats and high performance sports cars on closed tracks were shown racing, in addition to the open-world street racing of the original.

Nintendo’s creative fellow Shigeru Miyamoto appeared alongside Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot during E3 2017 today to officially reveal Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, a unique crossover role-playing game starring the Super Mario and Raving Rabbids worlds. The game will hit Nintendo Switch on Aug. 29.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle — a title that leaked long before this year’s Ubisoft press conference — is a weapons-based RPG that stems from a longstanding relationship between Nintendo and Ubisoft.

Microsoft is remastering the original Age of Empires with a Definitive Edition that will offer upgraded 4K graphics and improved gameplay, the company announced during the PC Gaming Show at E3 2017.

“We have redone every single asset,” said Adam Isgreen, creative director at Microsoft Studios. Age of Empires debuted in October 1997, meaning that the franchise is turning 20 this year.

One of the highlights of the PC Gaming Show at E3 2017 so far has been a trailer for an indie game called Tunic, which showed off an intrepid fox in a beautiful pixelated world that’s seen from an isometric perspective.

Tunic is being developed by Andrew Shouldice, a one-man team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He is working with Finji, which has also published indie games such as Infinite Fall’s Night in the Woods. Shouldice originally introduced the game as Secret Legend in early 2015.
