The Last of Us Part 2’s new trailer is absolutely brutal

Sony debuted new footage from The Last of Us Part 2 during its Paris Games Week showcase, and here’s your first warning: It’s hard to watch.

God of War’s latest trailer gives us more father-and-son time

God of War appeared during Sony’s Paris Games Week media showcase, where the publisher debuted a new gameplay trailer.

The footage shows our old friend Kratos, who’s now a doting dad. But even though fatherhood may have softened him a bit, it hasn’t stopped him from being the same old strong Spartan we know and love. We were able to see Spider-Man in action during E3, which showcased the superhero taking advantage of his environment in a way that was reminiscent of Batman in Warner Bros. Interactive’s Arkham series.

At the tail-end of a trailer that Sony premiered during the media presser, we got our first quick tease at Aloy’s appearance in the Monster Hunter: World world. As a pro dinosaur hunter, she’s a great fit for a crossover with Capcom’s fan-favorite questing-and-hunting franchise.

The original Spelunky (and its remaster, Spelunky HD) had players navigating a series of randomized locales, including temples, caves, tombs, a UFO and hell. Despite its colorful, cartoon aesthetic, Spelunky is known for its steep and rewarding learning curve.

Like the original, Spelunky 2 is developed by Mossmouth. There is no current release date, and its unclear if the game will appear on consoles and PC, or just PS4.
