Modders behind an ambitious project to bring 2010’s Fallout: New Vegas into the Creation Engine of Fallout 4 have released a tantalizing video showing the beginning of that game.

The mod is called Fallout 4 New Vegas and it’s by Team F4NV, which announced their project back in August. The goal is not only to update Fallout: New Vegas, beloved by many fans as the best in the series, but also to expand and refine its gameplay. Take a gander at that perk system, for example, as the Courier strolls into Goodsprings and levels up.

Injustice 2 roster adds Enchantress next week

Enchantress is the next fighter coming to Injustice 2, available in early access beginning Tuesday Jan. 9 for those who have either the game’s premium Ultimate Edition, Ultimate Pack or Fighter Pack 3. Everyone else can buy Enchantress on Jan. 16.

Naturally, NetherRealm Studios and WB Games are saving the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles — announced in November along with Atom and Enchantress — for last in Fighter Pack 3. They’ll probably show up sometime in February, as Atom became available last month.

Stack Up, the military-focused charity centered around a shared love of video games, has announced a new suicide prevention initiative. Called the Stack Up Overwatch Program (STOP), it provides veterans and active-duty military personnel with round-the-clock access to a team of trained and certified crisis management volunteers. STOP will be available 24 hours a day through Discord.

Founded in 2015 by United States Army veteran Stephen Machuga (who also founded Operation Supply Drop), Stack Up’s mission is to bring service members and their civilian supporters together “through a shared love of video gaming.” As such, Stack Up supports U.S. troops, as well as other NATO allies, during and after their active-duty deployments.

The organizers of the annual Game Developers Choice Awards have announced this year’s nominees, with Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn leading the pack. Both titles were nominated for a total of six awards, including Game of the Year, for the 2018 GDC Awards.

PlatinumGames’ Nier: Automata, PUBG Corp.’s PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Ninja Theory’s Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Infinite Fall’s Night in the Woods and StudioMDHR’s Cuphead were also nominated for three awards each.
