Rare reveals a Sea of Thieves crossover with Pirates of the Caribbean

Sea of Thieves has switched to a seasonal model, updating the game every three months with a rewards track. During Sunday’s E3 presentation, Microsoft and Rare showed off what’s coming up for the pirate sandbox, and that includes a preview of season three. It looks like players will get to spend more time in the Sea of the Damned, which is currently limited to just a respawn mechanic. However, it looks like there’s a whole world out there in the spirit realm that players will get to explore during the course of A Pirate’s Life.
