PC Gaming Show 2018 press conference: start time, live stream, and schedule

With so many huge announcements and popular games on display at E3 every year, it can be easy to lose track of some games, especially if they aren’t part of one of the big console-specific press conference held by Microsoft or Sony. Thankfully, the PC Gaming Show is back for its fourth year at E3 to highlight some of games that may not have a big place at the other press conferences thanks to their focus on the console experience.

While we don’t know exactly what will be at this year’s show we can take a look at what has been there in the past to get a hint. Last year’s show featured a wealth of strategy game trailers like XCOM 2: War of the Chosen and BattleTech, as well as a the first vaulting trailer for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

That means we saw plenty of gameplay for the first time. The trailer introduces us to a beautiful landscape, where players will be able to choose their protagonist. They’ll play as either Alexios or Kassandra, two warriors traversing a war-torn country.

Star Fox will appear in Ubisoft’s Starlink: Battle for Atlas

Star Fox will appear in Starlink: Battle for Atlas. Ubisoft announced the addition at its E3 2018 press conference by inviting Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto onto the stage to accept a model of Star Fox’s ship as it will appear in the game.

It seems every year Ubisoft shows a new, unusual game the blurs the line between software and toys. This year (and last year) that game is Starlink: Battle for Atlas. Set in the Atlas star system 400-lightyears from Earth, players fight an alien legion using laser guns and powerful spacecraft.

Ubisoft highlights Skull & Bones naval combat in the latest E3 trailer

The pirate combat title is all about naval battles, both in a single-player mode and in five-on-five player-vs-player action. Sailors choose from a variety of ships, select the right cannons, and then set about the grisly work of subduing and sinking other vessels. Encounters start from afar and end with hand-to-hand combat aboard the decks.

Ubisoft E3 2018 press conference showed a trailer that highlighted the single-player campaign, showing a host of extremely pirate characters going about their pirate lives... until the empire emerges, sinking the pirate life in the Caribbean and chasing the crews to the Indian Ocean to steal every last coin and reclaim their treasure.
