How A Total War Saga: Troy blends myth and reality

A Total War Saga: Troy is a bit of a detour for the historical strategy series. It's the first full game from Creative Assembly Sofia, and the furthest back in time Total War has ever gone. Ubisoft Nadeo's Trackmania Nations reboot will be free-to-play, but it'll also have two subscription tiers if you want access to some of the arcade racer's advanced features. For those who don't pay anything, solo and multiplayer races will be available, with the roster of 25 tracks rotating on a quarterly basis. Sea of Thieves' big Tall Tale adventures are finally getting checkpoints

Sea of Thieves' big Tall Tale adventures are finally getting checkpoints

One of my favorite things about Sea of Thieves is doing Tall Tales, the complex, multi-part adventures that collectively make up the game's narrative backbone. One of my least-favorite things is that they can't be saved midpoint: If you quit before you're finished, all progress and rewards will be lost. That's not great for players who can't afford to sink hours at a time into a single session, especially when it comes to a few of the boss fights, which can be a massive hassle.
