Here's a preview of Torchlight 3's final area

Torchlight 3 may have just recently released into Early Access, but there's already quite a bit of game to be played. It looks like there will soon be more. Developers Echtra Games have shown off a trailer of Echonok, the final zone to be added to the game. It's about two minutes long and has a pretty neat diversity of visuals, sweeping across mountain vistas and into underground cities before leaving to icy aeries populated by sinister bird-people. Tactical shooter clans team up to save a World War 2 Airborne Museum

A clan of shooter players has rallied an effort around a museum to the people they fight as in games. Easy Company 506th PIR is a tactical shooter and historical game clan that's dedicated to commemorating the history of the American 101st Airborne in World War 2. Nicholas Collins, known online as Winter5427, is a leader of the group. "One of our members came to us about this airborne museum," he said. Hotel Hartenstein is in Oosterbeek, The Netherlands, and is a museum commemorating the efforts of Allied paratroops in World War 2's Operation Market Garden. The COVID-19 pandemic has hurt the museum badly. "They're out 300,000 euro," said Collins. That's when the gamers of Easy decided they could help. They set up a GoFundMe which quickly beat its initial goal of €2,000.

Security firm warns of new malware strain 'wreaking havoc' on Windows PCs

During the Great GPU Shortage of Yesteryear, cryptocurrency mining was all the rage. This also gave way to a class of 'cryptojacking' malware that would attempt to pilfer computing resources from an infected PC and use them to most often mine Monero. That has not been a big concern in a long while. However, security researchers at Unit 42 have discovered a new self-propagating malware strain that is a variant of old cryptojacking code.
