Leaked roadmap suggests GeForce RTX 3060 and 3070 Ti/Super cards are coming

Nvidia has drawn first blood in the next-gen GPU wars with its GeForce RTX 30 series, and next month, AMD will fire back with its Radeon RX 6000 lineup. As we have seen with every previous generation, however, the battle will stretch well beyond the opening rounds. As it pertains to that, a leaked roadmap by one of Nvidia's add-in board partners hints that several more Ampere cards are right around the corner.

Spellbreak has ensorcelled 5 million players

Five million mages have popped into Spellbreak since the battle royale's free-to-play launch. Even for a freebie, that's an impressive number, and it looks like people are just as content to watch it, as Twitch viewers have spent four million hours staring at arcane brawls.

After Rocket League went free-to-play, its servers crashed

Earlier today Rocket League became available on the Epic Games Store for free after being removed from sale on Steam (though existing players keep their copies, of course). The influx of new players, combined with a bunch of returning players thanks to the simultaneous start of Rocket League's latest competitive season, hit servers hard. As the official Rocket League Twitter account announced, "Tournaments, Challenges, and other Rocket League features are impacted by this degradation. Updates to follow when online services are restored."

Despite that early promise, or perhaps because of it, it's remained in Early Access ever since: It surpassed a million sales in mid-2019, and in January 2020 we said it had grown into "a military sim like no other."

A World of Warcraft bug is reverting some player's characters to how they were a decade ago

Many World of Warcraft players on the Khadgar server are experiencing an odd and terrifying glitch that is de-leveling their characters from 120 to around level 85—the level cap back when Cataclysm was released in 2010. Some are even finding clones of their characters sporting the exact armor and weapons they wore during that era, while others are logging in to find characters are missing entirely. Fortunately, Blizzard is investigating the cause and has already confirmed that no characters have been permanently deleted.
