Hearthstone's next update will let you borrow a friend's deck and play it against them

With Hearthstone's Witchwood expansion just three days away, Blizzard held their customary pre-expansion livestream today to show off the rest of the set's new cards and to wisely take any excuse to put Day9 and Ben Brode in the same room. And while plenty of cards were exciting, for many people the best thing to come out of today's stream was a new feature called Borrowed Decks which—you guessed it—let's you borrow your friend's decks.

Hack the deep web and hide from hitmen in offbeat horror game Welcome to the Game 2

Welcome to the Game 2 is a first-person horror game about hacking. You play as investigative reporter Clint Edwards, and it's on you to rescue a woman named Amalea from a group of mysterious masked hitmen. Your only clue is a clip of Amalea pleading for help, so to track her down you've got to dive headfirst into the deep web, the portion of the Internet which doesn't register in normal browsers or search engines.

A new Rainbow Six Siege exploit is turning Blitz into a monster

If you've been playing Rainbow Six Siege this week, you might've found yourself dying to German shieldbearer Blitz a little more often than usual. A recently discovered exploit makes Blitz aim like John Wick without having to leave the safety of his shield.

Windows 3.0 File Manager source code takes you back to 1990s-style navigation

It's been a long time since I've used Windows 3.0. A really long time. While I have no desire to dump Windows 10 and go back to an earlier era of computing, I do appreciate taking a trip down memory lane every so often. If you do as well, you can take a nosedive into nostalgia by downloading the source code for Windows 3.0's File Manager.

The Witcher 3 mod painstakingly recreates the UI and HUD from E3 2014 demo

The Witcher 3 is one of those RPGs that people just keep on playing and keep on modding. Our roundup of the Witcher 3's best mods include some projects that are still ongoing and totally rework combat and leveling into a different sort of RPG, while other mods are hellbent on making the game look like it did in early demos. To that end, a recent mod called E3 UI and HUD promises to restore The Witcher 3's interface to what it looked like in 2014, a year before CD Projekt finished the game. Overall it makes the menus and map a little more flavorful and less utilitarian, which could be a nice change if you already know The Witcher 3 like the back of your hand.

HyperX’s second gaming mouse looks like a better option that its first one

Right around a year ago, HyperX (a division of Kingston) released its first gaming mouse, the Pulsefire FPS. While probably a better option than what you'd find in the clearance bin at K-Mart, it wasn't a terribly exciting rodent, featuring a basic design without any significant customization options. Fast forward to today and HyperX's second gaming mouse, the Pulsefire Surge, looks to be a better option.

Sam Fisher joins Ghost Recon Wildlands for 'Special Operation 1'

Ubisoft has confirmed that Splinter Cell superhero Sam Fisher is coming to Ghost Recon Wildlands in a special "crossover event" that's coming as part of the Special Operation 1, the first of four major updates planned for the game's second year. The Ghosts are assigned to back up Fisher's mission to recover material stolen from Langley—and, I would imagine, deliver some very bad news to the rogue CIA agent who's trying to sell it to the Santa Blanca cartel.
