Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia will bump up the difficulty in an update next week

Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia is a strong, streamlined strategy romp let down by a weak late game—so said Fraser in his review. Some AI niggles, odd victory conditions and abundant resources gifted him easy wins, and in one case he earned two victories before turn 30. It got so bad that he had to manufacture his own problems, adopting a noble that he knew would cause trouble. Creative Assembly wants to address those issues in an update next week, which is designed to make the game more difficult in general.

Twitch has filed a counter-suit against banned CS:GO streamer Phantoml0rd

Streamer James "PhantomL0rd" Varga filed a lawsuit against Twitch in February over the 2016 suspension of his account, resulting from his alleged ownership of CSGO skin gambling site CSGOShuffle. The suit claimed, among other things, that he was suspended for "unsubstantiated, false accusations," and that he'd been scapegoated by Twitch in an effort to "divert attention from the fact that Twitch continued to knowingly allow [fraudulent skin gambling] to continue on other Twitch channels.

Slay the Spire update includes a pile of new potions

Excellent card crawler Slay the Spire released a new update today, adding a profuse pile of potions to the game’s mixture of deck building and dungeon crawling. The new update is actually a rework of the whole potions system, previously functional but a bit lackluster. Potions are now divided into Common, Uncommon, and Rare categories, and some of the new potions look quite powerful on the face of it—like a fairy in a jar that prevents death, or a little bit of Snecko oil to draw some cards and gain the sometimes-valuable Confuse effect.
