Watch Dogs: Legion corrupted save fix may be several days away, Ubisoft says

Watch Dogs: Legion players are reporting a pretty big problem with the game's save system in the Watch Dogs subreddit and Ubisoft forum: When players don't properly exit the game, save data is being erased. Because there's only one save slot, and no option to manually save, hours of progress—sometimes entire campaigns—are being lost. Ubisoft says it's aware of the problem and that a fix is in the works, but it may not be out until early next week.

Riot teased Valorant's dataminers for doing such a good job, but they missed it

The release of a new weapon skin wouldn't usually be interesting, but Valorant's returning Reaver line has a little backstory. Essentially the Reaver set was the internal prototype for all Valorant gun skins, released during the game's closed beta period, and showed players that the game's cosmetics would be more elaborate than a new texture. The Reavers had custom reload animations, a custom melee, and a 'finishing' animation for the last kill of a round.

Firefighting Simulator looks like hot stuff

At some point, surely we all wanted to be a firefighter. The uniforms are cool, the fire trucks are awesome, and scooshing water all over the place sounds great. Yeah it's an incredibly dangerous and serious business, but in the child's imagination fire fighting is one of the glamour jobs.

Because PeekingBoo doesn't just speedrun games, oh no—he speedruns them using his feet. On a DDR dance pad.

As part of its season pass, Desperados III offered a new storyline called "Money for Vultures", itself split into three parts. The latest installment, "Once more with feeling", completes that storyline and the season pass, taking players back to the Eagle's Nest, the fortress that appeared in both previous Desperados games.

Todd Howard says Starfield's map will be Bethesda's biggest yet

During an interview for this year's Develop: Brighton conference, Todd Howard shared some more info on the eagerly awaited space RPG Starfield. The literally biggest news is the expected size of the map, which will be even larger than that of Fallout 76 (itself four times the size of Skyrim). Whether this refers to a galaxy map or individual planets is not clear.
