Bethesda would like to remind you, again, that singleplayer games aren't dead

Bethesda was worried that since Fallout 76 was multiplayer, you would freak out and assume that they’d stop making cool single player games. In part, that’s why they announced Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6 with short teasers this year even though they can barely give you any details and won’t for a long time yet—so that you won’t lose your lid.

The DCS series continues to quietly be one of the prettiest things on PC

Perhaps one of the most famous jet fighters of all time, the F-14 Tomcat, is making its way into DCS World this winter. Developers Heatblur have been working on the F-14 for four years, with incredibly detailed modeling going into everything from the aeronautics and flight characteristics to the individual bolts, buttons, and switches in the cockpit.

They’re actually making Overwatch’s Lucio-Ohs into real cereal

A listing at a food service information website has leaked that Kellogg’s is most likely making real one of Overwatch’s best in-game jokes: Lucio-Ohs cereal, based on everyone’s favorite hover-roller-blading DJ. First noticed by the folks over at The Junk Food Aisle, it seems like the cereal is not only real, it’s coming December 3rd, and you can earn a Loot Boost from each box. (A loot boost, for those unfamiliar, gives you a bonus loot box when you next level up.)

Fallout 76 has Red Dead-style treasure maps

There are dozens of treasure maps hidden in Fallout 76 which bear an uncanny resemblance to the ones found in Red Dead Redemption. Each map depicts some crudely drawn scenery complete with an all-important X, and that's basically it. You have to rely on your eyes and memory to find the treasure, so spelunking in the Appalachian frontier is just as fun as it was in the Wild West.

Here's 30 minutes of Fallout 76 gameplay

Two of us got to play Fallout 76 at an event held by Bethesda in West Virginia last week, and we've got the footage to prove it! Unfortunately it wasn't the PC version of the game, it was a build on Xbox One, but we still got a few hours of playtime with Bethesda's online Fallout game. It began with us creating a character, leaving Vault 76, and exploring The Forest, one of the six different regions of Fallout 76. You can see 30 minutes of captured footage from our session above.
