Ubisoft details Assassin's Creed 3 remaster improvements

If you purchased the Assassin's Creed: Odyssey Gold edition, or purchased the game's season pass, you'll get access to a new remaster of Assassin's Creed 3 this March. First released in 2012, the original game is clearly ageing, so it's nice to see it getting some spit and polish.

Get 10 Hearthstone card packs and WoW Classic demo access with BlizzCon Virtual Tickets

BlizzCon is now less than a month away, and I'm sorry to say that the opportunity to purchase tickets to attend the event in person are long gone. But Virtual Tickets are still available, and if you pick one up Blizzard will throw in a BlizzCon 2018 card back for Hearthstone, plus two card packs each from the Classic, Witchwood, Kobolds & Catacombs, Knights of the Frozen Throne, and Journey to Un'Goro sets.

I've heard of VoIP, but now meet FoIP: Face and voice over IP (which should really be FaVoIP, if you ask me). It not only lets you voice your character through your mic, but supposedly also tracks your face via your webcam and projects your facial expressions onto your character's face. FoIP is part of Star Citizen alpha 3.3, which is releasing today to coincide with CitzenCon, the fan convention being held in Austin, Texas.

The Sims 4: Get Famous expansion will let your Sims become stars

The Sims 4 is getting a new expansion next month called Get Famous that will enable your Sims to—surprise!—get famous. The expansion will add a new location called Del Sol Valley, "home to A-listers, up-and-comers, and everyone in between," with two separate residential areas, a park, a nightclub, and other venues to explore. But if you're not famous yet, you may have to wait (and work on it) to get in.
