Final Fantasy 14's director busts up laughing when asked if it will ever get classic servers

When World of Warcraft Classic launches later this summer, players will get the nostalgia trip of a lifetime: A chance to return to WoW as it existed in its original form back in 2006. But WoW isn't the only MMO that's changed significantly and irreversibly over the course of its life. Though few might remember it, Final Fantasy 14 originally launched in 2010, and was Not Good. Sci-fi tactical party game I Am Not a Monster is getting a full solo campaign

I Am Not a Monster is an XCOM-like tactical combat game with a Werewolf-style party game twist. Modeled after pulpy sci-fi from the '40s and '50s, it puts six players aboard a tourist starship that's been invaded by aliens who can take human form. The humans try to fight off the attack, but the situation is complicated by the fact that they can't tell who the aliens are. It was released last year as a multiplayer game, and publisher Alawar Premium announced today that a single-player mode called First Contact is on the way.

The circus came to Twitch last month when somebody noticed that the category dedicated to Valve's Artifact card game was a ghost town—or, maybe more accurately, a void waiting to be filled. And fill it they did, with memes, porn, and more. Twitch fought back, killing streams and suspending troll accounts as quickly as it could, but the internet is persistent, and it took a while to rein things in.

This SSD turns gold when it heats up to 'cheer on gamers'

Imagine if AMD or Intel built a processor that could talk, and as the temps ramped up to its thermal limit, it offered words of encouragement. Something like, 'Hell yeah, now you're cooking with Crisco! Keep going!' That would be silly, right? Apacer said 'Hold my beer' and built a solid state drive that communicates that general message, just not verbally.
