about X hours ago from

After three straight weeks at No. 1, Avengers: Endgame has finally been dethroned at the box office.

The latest weekend numbers are in, and John Wick: Parabellum made $57 million in the US/Canada this weekend to sit in the No. 1 position, according to Entertainment Weekly. Endgame was No. 1 with $29.4 million, while Detective Pikachu was No. 3 with $24.8 million.

Parabellum's $57 million opening is the best-ever for the franchise, exceeding the first movie's opening-weekend haul of $14.4 million and the $30.4 million that John Wick 2 took in back in 2017. Parabellum made $92.2 million from overseas markets, which brings its total opening-weekend box office performance to performance to more than $150 million for a very strong start.

Game Of Thrones: Who Won The Iron Throne?

about X hours ago from

After it all, it's come to this: the end of Game of Thrones. With the final episode of Season 8, HBO's fantasy epic ended the Last War with the destruction of the Lannisters, the torching of King's Landing, and one last person to sit the Iron Throne and rule Westeros.

Of course, one final warning: There are massive spoilers for the Game of Thrones finale beyond this point. Read on at your own risk.

The finale episode resolved the conflict between Daenerys Targaryen and the rest of Westeros after her turn in King's Landing, in which she used dragon fire to kill thousands even after the city had surrendered. Daenerys chose to rule Westeros through fear since she thought she'd never get the people's love. Turns out, that wasn't a great choice either, as it caused some of her most trusted allies to turn on her.

WWE Money In The Bank Final Match Results: Brock Lesnar Makes Surprise Appearance

WWE's Money in the Bank PPV is over, and the ending of the men's ladder match was extremely disappointing to many fans, as Brock Lesnar showed up and grabbed the briefcase hanging above the ring, winning the match. We didn't even know he was in the match. We're still collecting our thoughts but check out GameSpot's review of the show.

The XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut will host this year's event, which will have 11 matches on the card. Yes, it's another very large card for a WWE PPV.

There are only two matches on the entire card where the winner won't receive either a championship or a contract for a championship match. Roman Reigns takes on Elias, as both men have now moved to Smackdown and have beef with each other for some reason, and The Miz will battle Shane McMahon in a steel cage match. Miz told GameSpot during a recent interview that he's excited to be stuck with McMahon in a cage.

E3 2019: All The PlayStation Games Confirmed So Far

about X hours ago from

E3 2019 is fast approaching and there's going to be a ton of PS4 games. While Sony won't be attending this year, that doesn't stop other developers from bringing PS4 games to the show. Big name publishers like Bethesda, Electronic Arts, and more are showcasing some of their biggest new games.

Sony decided against appearing at E3 2019 out of a desire to showcase its games in new and different ways compared to previous years. "As the industry evolves, Sony Interactive Entertainment continues to look for inventive opportunities to engage the community," the company said in a statement to GameSpot. "PlayStation fans mean the world to us and we always want to innovate, think differently and experiment with new ways to delight gamers. As a result, we have decided not to participate in E3 in 2019. We are exploring new and familiar ways to engage our community in 2019 and can't wait to share our plans with you."

John Wick 3: Let's Talk About The Adjudicator, A Terrifying Villain Who Never Holds A Gun

about X hours ago from

When the John Wick series introduces a villain, they usually fall into one of two categories: They're either a gun-toting badass like John Wick 2's Cassian (Common) and Ares (Ruby Rose) or John Wick 3's Zero (Mark Dacascos), or a spineless crime boss like the original's Iosef Tarasov (Alfie Allen) or 2's Santino D'Antonio (Riccardo Scamarcio). John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum introduces one new antagonist who absolutely crushes this mold: The Adjudicator, played by Asia Kate Dillon.

The Adjudicator is a high level enforcer sent to New York by the High Table to exact punishment against those who aided John Wick in his defiance of the organization's laws throughout John Wick 2. The character is also non-binary in gender, according to Dillon, and goes by "they"--a detail you might not pick up on in the film, but which informed how Dillon, who is non-binary in real life, approached playing them.

Throughout John Wick 3, the Adjudicator recruits Zero and his gang of sushi-carving ninjas, cuts the Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne) down to size, and delivers Winston an ultimatum to step down as the Continental's manager or risk facing the consequences. And the Adjudicator manages to do it all without ever lifting a finger, raising their voice, or picking up a gun.
