Last Chance To Download February's PlayStation Plus Freebies (PS4, PS3, Vita)

about X hours ago from

The next group of March PlayStation Plus free games will be live in less than a week, which means it's your last chance to grab the freebies being offered in February. February's batch of free PlayStation Plus games will be the last to include PS3 and Vita games, so it'll be only PS4 titles offered from here on out. However, Sony did increase cloud storage for PS Plus members from 10GB to 100GB this month as a perk. And you'll still be able to play any PS3 and Vita games in your library as long as you're a PS Plus member.

February's available free games include For Honor and Hitman: The Complete First Season as the two PS4 exclusives. Gunhouse and Rogue Aces are available for both PS4 and Vita. Meanwhile, you can also download Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for PS3, and Divekick is available for both PS3 and Vita.

While March has only two free games on its lineup for PS Plus members, they're two games you don't want to miss. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and The Witness will replace February's offers on March 5 and be free to download for PS Plus members until April 1.

Epic Games has released the next big update for Fortnite, which launches Season 8. The new season adds several gameplay tweaks, new map areas and weapons, and updates the battle royale game with a brand-new Battle Pass. To help you finish its numerous tasks--which offer more than 100 rewards, including new skins--Fortnite's new update now allows you to complete challenges with your friends.

To get some help with the Season 8 Battle Pass' daily and weekly challenges, enable Party Assist prior to jumping into a Fortnite match. Once you do, every party member in your group, including you, will be able able to contribute to the overall progress for the selected challenge. However, Party Assist will not rope in players who are added to groups to fill in empty spaces during matchmaking. Party Assist won't work in larger multiplayer modes, such as Team Rumble, either. For exact details on Party Assist, check out Season 8's patch notes.

As stated before, Season 8 adds numerous other adjustments to Fortnite. Perhaps the most notable are the changes to Fortnite island, which sees the introduction of a new locations, such as a volcano, Sunny Steps, and Lazy Lagoon. The volcano is especially dangerous, as it brings lava to Fortnite. Lava is bouncy but harmful to touch, and it will cause hot air to billow from certain vents which can launch players into the sky.
