Avengers Endgame: Who Is Kate Bishop And Here's Why Everyone Thinks She's In The MCU?

about X hours ago from

The latest Avengers: Endgame trailer has fans clamoring about a brief moment on the ol' Barton farm featuring Clint, apparently, teaching a young girl to shoot a bow and arrow in, what we can assume, is the post-Civil War peace before the Snap ruined everything. Comics fans immediately clocked a hidden potential in the otherwise innocuous slice-of-life bit: That girl could be the MCU's take on Kate Bishop, the other Hawkeye.

Or, more likely, it could be Clint's young daughter, Lila, last seen in Age of Ultron.

But let's indulge the possibility for a second and take a look at who, exactly, Kate Bishop is, where she would fit into the MCU, and why everyone is so excited that there's even a slight chance of her being brought into the fold.

10 Captain Marvel Theories That Could Change The Future Of The MCU

Let's get weird with it.

One of the most fun parts of being an MCU fan is sitting back and trying to connect the dots. And after a decade of movies being woven together, there are no shortage of dots in play. As we head into Avengers: Endgame in earnest, it's crunch time on getting every crazy, abstract, just-weird-enough-to-work theory written down and out there, just on the off chance that you'll get to say "I told you so" when the final battle with Thanos actually happens.

That, and with a little over a month left to wait for Endgame to hit theaters, we've got to keep ourselves sane somehow, right? The anticipation is killing us.

So, with that in mind, we've compiled a list of our favorite post-Captain Marvel fan theories, ranging from the extremely likely to the absolutely bonkers--and everything in between. We're just as in the dark as everyone else when it comes to the next phase of Marvel movies, but we like to think we've got enough nervous energy and enthusiasm to make some educated (and not-so-educated) guesses about the way things are going to play out.

Pokemon Go Rayquaza Raid Event Begins Tomorrow

about X hours ago from

Pokemon Go players who missed their chance to catch Rayquaza last year will have soon have another opportunity to do so. Niantic is bringing the Legendary Sky High Pokemon back for a special Raid event this weekend--but like before, it won't be around for very long.

From March 15-18, Rayquaza will make an encore appearance in Raid Battles around the world. Before you can capture the Legendary Pokemon, you'll first need to team up with other players in-person and battle it. If your group manages to defeat it, you'll receive a handful of Premier Balls along with an opportunity to catch it.

Rayquaza is a dual Dragon/Flying-type, which makes it particularly susceptible to Ice-type attacks, so you'll want to bring along Pokemon such as Mamoswine and Lapras to battle it. Dragon is also one of the few Pokemon types that is vulnerable to itself, so other Dragon Pokemon such as Giratina and Salamence should prove to be effective as well.

Assassin's Creed 3: Remastered Will Include Gameplay Improvements

about X hours ago from

Ubisoft has announced what gameplay changes are included in the upcoming remaster for Assassin's Creed III. The game will be receiving additional updates on the Switch version as well, most of which take advantage of the console's unique features.

The gameplay changes for Assassin's Creed III: Remastered are detailed in the March Monthly Update for Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Ubisoft stated that many of the changes are to create a "better balance between action and stealth" in the game. Double assassinations, which existed in the original AC3, are now easier to pull off. Whistling to attract enemy guards, which you only could do from behind cover before, can now also be done from bushes. Free-aiming long-range weapons--which was added into the franchise in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag--is being implemented into the remaster as well, allowing more control with Ratonhnhaké:ton's pistols and bow.

AC3: Remastered also includes "additional weapons for crafting," an updated in-game economy, and a new UI that incorporates color-blind settings. The game will include new Legacy outfits as well, which allow Ratonhnhaké:ton to dress up as protagonists from other Assassin's Creed games, such as Origins' Bayek and Odyssey's Alexios.

Cobra Kai Season 2 Strikes Hard And Shows No Mercy

When YouTube decided to revive The Karate Kid as a TV show, it was met with justified skepticism. But just like Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) did not see Daniel's (Ralph Macchio) crane kick coming at the 1984 All-Valley Karate Championship so was the world not ready for how good Cobra Kai would be. Going into Season 2, the surprise factor is gone, and expectations are through the roof. So how does Cobra Kai respond? After viewing the first two episodes at SXSW, it's clear it does so by striking first, striking hard, and having no mercy for your free time, because you're going to want to binge this show as soon as it hits YouTube.

At the end of Season 1, we witnessed a flash from the past as a member of Cobra Kai illegally hurts a student of Miyagi-dojo during a karate tournament. Only this time, Miguel (Xolo Maridueña) took the first place trophy for the infamous dojo instead of the other way around, leaving Johnny drunk and depressed he turned a sweet kid into a jerk, and that his own son got hurt in the process.

Four New Sniper Elite Projects Announced

Rebellion announced not one or two, but four Sniper Elite projects today, across a variety of platforms including virtual reality. The centerpiece of the announcement is the next major Sniper Elite game, though the announcement shies away from calling it "Sniper Elite 5" by name. However, Rebellion acknowledges that it's in development.

The other three games include two resurrected classics and one emerging technology. Sniper Elite V2 Remastered will bring the 2012 game to current platforms with updated visuals and new features, including 4K resolution and HDR support, a photo mode, an expanded multiplayer mode, and all of its add-on content. It will hit PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch this year.

Similarly, Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch this year, and also includes the full suite of add-on content. It sports a new local wireless multiplayer mode and motion controls.
