See The Tactical Gameplay In Action

Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers launches next month as a digital release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. With the release date looming, Koei Tecmo released a new trailer today showing off the gameplay. Godseekers features tactical gameplay unlike the action fare the Dynasty Warriors games are best known for; but don't worry, it still has tons of cool special moves that make you pack a punch against enemies.

This entry follows Zhao Yun and his friend Lei Bin, who help a young girl named Lixia escape from a mystical prison. Lixia's past holds many mysteries that the two try to piece together on their journey, which leads them fighting for the salvation of the world. Godseekers puts them in historical battles, allowing them to brush shoulders with powerful warriors in Three Kingdoms era China.

The trailer below lets you see the tactical gameplay, where you move units across a grid, attacking from strategic places such as the rear or sides to get the upper hand. For tougher opponents, you have access to Lixia's orbs, which can deal deadly elemental damage.

Arcade-Style Hockey Makes A Return

Sports games have mostly diverted from their arcadey roots in recent years. Old Time Hockey looks to harken back to the simplistic era of hockey games where controls weren't as complicated and the laws of physics were loosely followed.

Up to four local players can jump into the (mostly) helmetless, afro-laden, and violent world of 1970s hockey in the Exhibition Mode. Old Time Hockey also has a narrative campaign where players can follow a blue-collared hockey team and help them win the championship.

Players can choose an old-school, two-button control mode or more modernized control scheme. Developer V7 Entertainment cites games like NHL 94, Blades of Steel, and 3-on-3 Open Ice as inspirations for Old Time Hockey's retro controls.

Latest Trailer Shows Off Fighting Bears

After the end of Tekken 7's "King of Iron Fist" Tournament in Japan a few hours ago, we saw the return of two of Tekken's most adorable characters for Tekken 7: Kuma (Japanese for "bear") the Bear and Panda the... well, Panda.

The two look to play somewhat different, using different special attacks and combos. If the trailer is any indication, Panda prefers stylish hats for their beatdowns, while Kuma prefers to beat people up using fish. You watch the two fight it out in what could be 2016's most ridiculous trailer below.
