Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered, which combines the titles used inside and outside of North America, is being developed and published by Aspyr Media for iOS, PC, Mac, and Linux. According to Aspyr, the Remastered version features increased texture detail, support for higher resolutions, touch based controls for phones and tablets, full controller support for non-mobile platforms, and seamless switching between graphical modes.

New Screenshots Released For Gory FPS At PAX South

At PAX South, new screenshots were unveiled for the upcoming gory shooter Killing Floor 2. The sequel includes new monsters, weapons, and melee combat in addition to six player co-op.

The game takes place a month after the events of the original Killing Floor. Horzine Biotech's mutant specimen clones are ravaging all of Europe and throwing the continent into chaos. It's up to a ragtag band of civilians and mercenaries to work together to eradicate the menace.

Killing Floor 2 is coming to PC and for the first time to consoles with a PS4 version that was announced in December at the PlayStation Experience.

Battlefield Hardline Open Beta Starts On February 3

EA has announced the start of the Battlefield Hardline beta. You can start capturing criminals (or being one) on February 3.

The beta features three maps and three different modes. Included are Hotwire, which offers high-speed chases. You’ll be able to race through the Downtown map and the Dust Bowl. Dust Bowl will be playable in 64-player Conquest mode, also.

The lengthy video explores the philosophy of Starships as well as Civilization: Beyond Earth and the relationship between the two, and 30 minutes in the gameplay demo for Starships starts.

Turtle Rock and 2K are finally ready to give us a good look at what Evolve looks like as a solo experience. When you don’t have friends to team up with, you can work your skills as hunter and prey with some features that will make it worth visiting.

In the video below, you’ll see 22 minutes of the Defend game type (part of Evacuation mode) from both perspectives. As the monster, you’ll have minions at your disposal as you work to take out generators and the evacuation ship. As the Hunters, you can hot swap among your team to lock down the objectives and take on an AI monster.

Evolve Companion App Includes A Match-3 Game That Can Improve Your Console Or PC Hunters

Evolve will be arriving in just under two weeks, but you can start plotting your moves against the monster today. 2K and Cat Daddy Games have created a companion app with a match-3 game that can boost your hunter skills on the go.

Evolve: Hunters Quest is reminiscent of the Puzzle Quest titles (and the Knack tie-in game from 2013). There’s more than just a time-waster here, though.

Private Beta Includes Access To Single Player Mode

Atari announced today that by preordering the upcoming survival horror game Alone in the Dark: Illumination on Steam players can access a private beta starting tomorrow January 29th. The beta will give access to the Coal Mine section from the first campaign of the single player mode and let players try out the Hunter class. An additional beta period will arrive before the game releases and include new elements to expand the experience.

Alone in the Dark: Illumination features a 4-player co-op mode in the final game and also includes at total of four distinct classes. You can check out our preview of the game from PAX here

A set of new screens for Final Fantasy XV offer a glimpse at the game's Active Cross Battle System, open world, and an impressive Behemoth.

Aspects of the combat system can be seen in the shots in the media gallery below. The Active Cross Battle System is a mix of real-time and pre-determined commands, with some actions mapped to the face buttons. Combat occurs throughout the game's open world, where there is no loading except to enter towns or cities.
