Styx Clones, Climbs, And Kills (More) In Assassin's Green 2 Trailer

We’ve seen a bit of Styx: Master of Shadows in action, and now we get to see a more of his sneaky escapades in the new “Assassin’s Green 2” trailer. (I won’t even ask if you get it. You get it.) The trailer further showcases Styx’s lithe lethality and his ability to create a clone minion, which he then uses to distract and incapacitate his foes.

In the trailer, we get a better look at Styx’s hide-and-strike tactics—he’s both smaller and weaker than a lot of his opponents, so frontal assaults aren’t recommended. Utilizing his clone and proclivity for stealth is paramount to progress, and players have a few choices at their disposal: Styx stabs, poisons, and breaks the necks of his enemies if he can’t get around them.

Exclusive First Look At Swamp Thing & Detective Chimp In Lego Batman 3

The playable-character announcements continue to roll in for Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. Yesterday, Traveller's Tales and Warner Bros. Interactive announced the additions of Kevin Smith, Geoff Johns, and Stephen Amell (star of CW’s Arrow television show) to the game's ever-growing roster.

Today's reveals are stripped from DC's "Dark" universe of characters. Players will be able to traverse deep, murky waters as Swamp Thing, a heavy-unit character that can pick up cars, smash through walls, and pound the ground to create tremor attacks. On the opposite end of the strength spectrum, players can perform melee attacks with a banana as Detective Chimp (a.k.a. Bobo T. Chimpanzee). Yes, Detective Chimp can use his magnifying glass to uncover hidden Lego items and see through walls. He can also scale walls, swing on poles, and access computer terminals.

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is just over a month away, shipping to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Vita, and 3DS on November 11.

You'll see a variety of weapons in action, as they tear into trucks, choppers, and meatier targets. Longinus also shows off how you can lure animals like tigers to fight for you by strategically tossing bait around.

PlayStation 4 Exclusive Fluster Cluck Launches October 21

Sony’s Loot Entertainment has a new shooter in the works, and it’s hatching sooner than you think. Fluster Cluck, a PS4-exclusive twin stick shooter, harks back to the days of splitscreen co-op by pitting up to four players against one other in resource-gathering minigames. Players control the flying-saucer-piloting Pimento and Cornichon as they abduct cows, camels, zombies and turn them into “chicken.”

The game features both single-player and co-op campaigns, and the more players “chikkinize” the resources around them, the more unlocks and customizable options are made available. Players can upgrade their ships and weapons and create custom loadouts.
