MX Vs. ATV: Supercross Revives Dormant Motocross Racing Series

When we spoke with Nordic Games at Gamescom 2013, business and product director Reinhard Police told us that his company would bring back MX vs. ATV. It was one of the core franchises that motivated Nordic's acquisition of many of THQ’s game properties in April 2013. Today, fans of the series finally see the fruits of that deal with the release of MX vs. ATV: Supercross for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The sixth game in the popular dirt bike racing series, Supercross, features a customizable selection of vehicles from 80 motorcross companies and 60 pro riders, both old and new, to ride them with. In career mode, players can race in five different series on the game’s seventeen different tracks.

Surprise! There’s A New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Game Out Today

In September, Activision and WayForward announced a side-scrolling Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. Following that, much like the stealthy shellbacks, the game went very quiet.

Today, the Turtles emerge from the shadow on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. You can use all four of the heroes, swapping freely among them to use their different skills to surmount obstacles.

Announcement Trailer Tackles The Subconscious

about X hours ago from

The team at Wales Interactive has announced Soul Axiom, a first-person action/adventure game where players roam the world to uncover the mystery of their life (and afterlife). The title is slated to arrive on Steam Early Access next week, with Xbox One, PS4, and WiiU versions due at a later date.

In Soul Axiom’s world, humans can upload their memories and dreams to a server known as Elysia to be lived and relived for eternity. While few specifics about the game are known, Soul Axiom’s setting and tone seem to follow in the footsteps of Wales Interactive's previous title, Master Reboot.

The game is set in a trippy, dreamlike techno-environment in the near future. You can take a peek at the trailer and screenshots below to see the team’s interpretation of the server-based world.

Year Walk Developer Explores The Sailor’s Dream On November 6

Simogo, the studio behind last year’s Year Walk and Device 6, has announced when we’ll explore its latest mobile title. The Sailor’s Dream will be out in just a couple of weeks, and we still don’t know much about it.

You might recall that Simogo has been careful about how much it’s shared about the title. Last month, the developer shared that it was purposely being tight-lipped so as not to give too much away.

“It’s quite simple,” the developer says. “We just don’t don’t want to rob you of the sense of wonder and discovery.”

The Crew Lets You Trick Out Your Ride And Switch Cars On The Fly

In the latest trailer for Ubisoft’s upcoming social racer, The Crew, we get a deeper look at the ways you can customize your vehicles. In addition to car tuning, you can also earn perks for your profile that apply to whatever you’re driving.

The Crew features five different specs (street, performance, dirt, raid, and circuit), and you can swap to a different vehicle at any time. Given that you’re intended to be racing with friends, not having to return to the garage to grab a new car seems like a smart convenience.
