Precise Aerial Combat And Customizable Vehicles Head To Xbox One And PlayStation 4

about X hours ago from

Strike Vector, an aerial combat game that first released for PC in January 2015, arrives on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this summer.

Due to all of the new content, Developer Ragequit Corporation has named their port Strike Vector EX. Strike Vector EX features an all new single player campaign, a surprise for a title that launched with no other modes outside of online multiplayer. Another new addition to the port appears in bots: after listening to feedback from its community, Ragequit Corporation added AI controlled vehicles in order to cut down on time spent in matchmaking lobbies. These bots auto-populate until real players fill their spots, insuring more competitive online play. For more information, check out the gameplay video below.

Puck Talk: Breaking Down The NHL 16 E3 Demo

about X hours ago from

Now that the E3 dust has settled, we've had a chance to reflect on what we did and didn't like about NHL 16. To give our readers a clearer idea of what we think of the game at this juncture, I sat down with fellow GI editors Matthew Kato and Kimberly Wallace to share their hands-on impressions.

After last year's debacle, EA Canada clearly has a lot of ground to make up to produce a competent game and win back consumer confidence. Perhaps that's why to some of us the NHL 16 demo at E3 seemed to make bigger strides than the other titles in the EA Sports stable. Kim, what was your takeaway from your hands-on time with the game?

Over 20 Minutes Of Battleborn E3 Gameplay Shows Off That It's More Than A MOBA

about X hours ago from

While Battleborn’s competitive modes might take a page out of the MOBA playbook, the cooperative story mode is completely different. At E3, Gearbox and 2K showed off one mission, taking place on a frozen hells cape.

The five-person team of Thorn, Oscar Mike, Phoebe, Orendi, and Caldarius function more like a Borderlands squad than a League of Legends team. In the over 20 minutes of footage below, you’ll see how the upgrade system works as the team progresses through the mission.

about X hours ago from

Blizzard released another gameplay video of its upcoming class-based shooter today, showcasing one more member of Overwatch's diverse cast. This time, the centerpiece is Russian bodybuilder and laser enthusiast Zarya. She's a Tank class like Reinhardt, but with some key differences in her style. Watch her in action:

Zarya has big muscles, but she lets her particle cannon do the talking in this clip. This flexible weapon has a continuous beam projectile as well as a grenade-lobbing mode. Her two other abilities are more defensive in nature. One grants her a shield that absorbs enemy fire and increases the damage of her particle cannon. The other skill is a similar barrier that Zarya can cast on any teammate in range. Her ultimate ability, Graviton Surge, fires a projectile that draws enemies into a singularity and deals damage over time.
