As we’ve watched the game’s evolution, it’s become clear that EA and DICE aren’t aiming for the depth of the Battlefield series. Much of Battlefront’s gameplay is streamlined for accessibility, and with an enormous license and faithful following, that makes sense.

Star Wars Battlefront’s biggest feature isn’t the gunplay or the modes. It’s that it looks and sounds exactly like the movies.

Warhammer 40,000: Deathwatch Launches Today With Explosive New Screenshots

The PC version of Rodeo Games’ Warhammer 40,000: Deathwatch is out today. If you happened to miss the Unreal Engine 4 strategy game on iOS (or simply don’t prefer mobile gaming), the grim dark future awaits on Steam.

Deathwatch tasks you with training a team of Space Marines from across six different chapters. Unlike other groups of the Emperor’s Adeptus Astartes, the Deathwatch come from across the galaxy to serve as the last line of defense against alien threats.

Throughout Deathwatch, your troops will grow in strength. That is, of course, if they survive the Tyranid onslaught. You’ll be able to equip them with wargear you unlock to tailor your team to your play style.

This year’s entry also builds upon the creation options introduced last year. You’ll be able to design your own Superstar, Diva, Arena, and Championship. Hopefully the process is smooth, without long delays as different options are loaded in.
