New Trailer Sets Up The Story Without Gameplay

The latest trailer for The Division details how "The Dark Zone" came to be.

It explains why there are so few civilians, and so many caches of powerful weapons left lying about in a city that is being forcibly forgotten by the rest of the world. And it does it all without gameplay.

Dungeon-Crawling With A Dose Of Heavy-Metal Thunder

about X hours ago from

Aside from encounters with the occasional boulder-slinging ogre, dungeon-crawlers have been light on hard rock. React Games is addressing that with its upcoming game, Super Dungeon Bros., a four-player co-op game where heavy metal isn’t just for smithing. We joined a full crew and played through one of its procedurally generated levels. From what we experienced, it looks like it’s on course to bring something different to the genre.

Anyone who’s played a dungeon-crawler can probably sketch out a rough outline of Super Dungeon Bros. without setting an eye on it. Procedurally generated dungeons? Check. Waves of trash mobs between tougher baddies? Check. Swords? Axes? Breakable crates? Check, check, check. One key thing that sets the game apart is its silly tone.

Read Minds And Expose Traitors

about X hours ago from

Lost Dimension features more than a dozen characters, five of whom plan to betray you at the end of the game. Because Lost Dimension randomizes the five traitors for each new playthrough, discovering them often proves difficult.

Fortunately, Atlas has provided a solution: Deep Vision. Deep Vision allows players enter into fellow party members' minds in order to investigate their thoughts and thereby discover their true motivations. If this ability seems overpowered, keep in mind that it may only be used a select few times over the course of an entire game. For a more in-depth look at this feature, check out the trailer below.
