Farting in public is a harrowing ordeal for anyone, but Gassy Mob takes flatulence to the next level with fast-paced gameplay and colorful, Katamari-style visuals. Take a look:

Gassy Mob puts players in the unenviable position of a cute little character who has eaten too much and must pass gas around strangers and friends alike. Your farting will deeply anger these people, who will promptly form a mob and attempt to murder you. The only way to progress is to fart on new people, causing the mob to grow and your score to climb. While the premise is childish, there looks to be some deep gameplay for those who can put up with the smell.

50 Exciting Changes Coming To NBA 2K16's Franchise Modes

about X hours ago from

As sports games evolve in new directions, the decades-long mainstay franchise mode is often superseded when it comes to development resources in favor of shiny new possibilities like moneymaking Ultimate Teams, new draft modes, competitive play, and even simply playing along with a team through the regular season. The neglect of this mode is sometimes attributed to a shift in player interests, but from where I'm sitting a well-executed franchise mode offers more engagement, depth, and long-term replayability than any contending mode.

Visual Concepts senior producer Erick Boensich agrees, which is why each year he and his team push hard for the resources to build forward-thinking new features into the NBA 2K games. This year is no different. In fact, Visual Concepts staffed up with more engineers this year so the franchise mode team responsible for building MyGM and MyLeague in NBA 2K16 could think big. Here are their bold plans for continuing to raise the bar of franchise modes:

Darth Maul Stitches Himself Back Together For Disney Infinity 3.0

Darth Maul’s fate at the end of The Phantom Menace was tragic. The villain with the most potential in the prequel trilogy was snuffed out far too soon. Disney Infinity 3.0 is looking to right those wrongs.

He’ll have more opposition this time out, though. Obi Wan Kenobi is older and wiser, and he has Yoda, Anakin Skywalker, and the young padawan Ahsoka Tano along.

Like, Zoinks, Scoob! We’re In Lego Dimensions

Lego Dimensions is hanging its hat on a diverse collection of licensed properties. The latest under the spotlight is Scooby Doo.

In a new trailer, we see Shaggy, Scooby, and the gang solving mysteries alongside Batman, Wyldstyle, Gandalf, and other representatives from the many included franchises. A Ghostbusters team-up might be amusing, especially when players find out they fried a human in a rubber mask with a proton stream.

We last covered Blade & Soul in May, when we learned developer NCSoft planned to port this title to North America. If you were hoping to get a head start with this martial arts MMO before the general population plays it, have no fear: today NCSoft announced a way to pick up this game early.

By purchasing one of the three Founder's Packs, you earn access to the Blade & Soul closed beta. Depending on the tier, you may also receive a 30 or 90-day membership, the chance to secure a character name, exclusive skins, and more character slots.

Along with the Founder's Pack reveal, NCSoft released a new trailer highlighting the game's two warring factions.

Asteroid Base's ID@Xbox title is full of fast paced action as two players try to pilot a ship through hostile space. The trailer above does a great job of showing this unique mechanic in action.

The Live Action Launch Trailer Comes From The Minds Behind Robot Chicken

The launch trailer for Toy Soldiers: War Chest captures the spirit of the game, despite not showing much actual gameplay. In the trailer below, a worker confined to a cubicle turns his desk into an open battleground where action figure superstars like Cobra Commander, He-Man, and Ezio Auditore engage in deadly, office warfare.

Similar to the trailer, the actual game puts players in charge of armies led by some of their favorite childhood action figures. The base game includes generic armies modeled after science fiction, civil war, supernatural, and cutesy childhood toys. The Hall of Fame edition introduces familiar faces from G.I. Joe, Assassin's Creed, and He-Man: Masters of the Universe into the mix. Players take control of one of these armies and must upgrade and customize it to gain the competitive edge in Toy Soldiers' hybrid action-strategy matches. Check out the armies in action here.
