Arslan's Heroes Wreck Havoc In Gameplay Trailer

Koei Tecmo has shared new info for Arslan: The Warriors of Legend, its action tactics game inspired by the '80s novel-series-turned-anime. In addition to new gameplay details, the publisher has a new trailer featuring Arslan's colorful warriors in action.

Arslan tells the story of a young prince who must reclaim his kingdom after being ousted by an invading empire. Like Dynasty Warriors, players plow through humongous waves of enemies using a variety of flashy attacks.

Character equipment is upgraded and customized by assigning them Weapon Arts, attribute-based stat-enhancers (water, fire, power). Weapons unlock new powers and abilities the more they’re used, and can be combined with other armaments to unleash Chain Strikes and other devastating combos.

While moviegoers must wait until December 18 to see the desert planet of Jakku on the big screen in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, gamers can now glimpse how the war-ravaged world looks in Star Wars Battlefront. The latest trailer for the anticipated shooter presents a chaotic battle that unfolds on the planet's surface.

The brief snippet of footage opens with a rebel soldier crawling to his feet amidst a battlefield covered in wreckage. X-Wings and TIE Fighters swarm in a fierce dogfight overhead, and burning Star Destroyers plummet through the sky. AT-ATs loom over the battlefield, close to one of the crashed capital ships.

Fallout 4 Features Original Songs By Wonder Woman Actress Lynda Carter

One of my fondest memories from Fallout 3 was repairing the Galaxy News Radio relay dish and giving Three Dog a way to howl throughout the capital wasteland. Music is an important part of the Fallout franchise, and that’s no different for next week’s new installment.

Bethesda announced today that musician, voice actor, and Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter is contributing five songs to Fallout 4. Her character, Magnolia, performs songs from after the bombs dropped in the town of Goodneighbor.

One of these, appropriately named "Good Neighbor," is available to listen to now. Carter says that she may incorporate these original tunes into her performance repertoire.

Bobbles And Beats And Bears, Oh My

Bobbles And Beats And Bears, Oh My

There’s more to life as a Yakuza member than back alley crime and shady business dealings. Yakuza 5 developer Sega has released a new batch of screens that show off the game’s numerous diversions.

Even Yakuza members like to spend their evenings gallivanting around their respective districts, taking in the sights and playing a game or two. In Yakuza 5, players will be able to snap pictures at photo booths, raise and bet on chickens, try to talk up the hostess at a local bar, and even practice their drumming skills at the arcade with Taiko no Tatsujin. Yakuza 5 is, unsurprisingly, filled with nods to modern Japanese culture, including collectible Hatsune Miku and NiGHTS statues. There’s even old arcade cabinets with Virtua Fighter 2. When not traversing the bars and beat-em-up games, you can also go hunting for bears in the snowy mountains.

Yakuza 5 is scheduled to release sometime before the end of the year on PlayStation 3. No exact date has been announced. For more on Yakuza 5's inspiration, check out the first of a three video series here.

The video below introduces us to mounted machine-gun wielding Tachanka, sniper Glaz, the trip-mine deploying Kapkan, and the demolition expert Fuze. Explosions are fun, especially if you aren’t worried about collateral damage.
