The open beta for Battlefield 1 begins on August 31 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC players. Early access will be awarded to those who sign up for the game's insider newsletter, on the official website. Additionally, the Gamescom trailer introduces a brand new map, classes, and vehicles. In the first Dark Knight virtual reality experience you will descend into the Batcave, equip Batman's gear, and then experience Gotham City and Wayne Manor from Batman's eyes. Along with some new footage, the trailer seen below includes some players' reactions to the experience during the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con. After putting on the mask, one player states a mirror appears and as you glance into its reflection, Batman stares back at you. "That's when you like, really feel it," he says.

Cutter Slade is headed back to Adelpha in a remake of the PC title Outcast. The newly announced Outcast - Second Contact is due for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in March 2017.

The game is being developed by French studio Appeal and published by Big Ben Interactive. Outcast's plot follows a United States Special Forces operative on a quest to protect a group of scientists on a newly discovered world. Talans, the planet's native aliens, give Slade a less-than-warm welcome and threaten the future of Earth.

Details are sparse on the game so far, with the first official look due at Gamescom next week. Stay tuned for more info, and check out a few screenshots below.

Today developer Tripwire Interactive announced that Killing Floor 2 is releasing globally on November 18 (PC/PS4), and with it comes modes for both solo players and those playing with and against friends.

Killing Floor 2 supports six player co-op and solo play, as well as a "12 Player PvP Versus Survival Game Mode." In it, a team of humans face against a team of Zeds (the game's zombie-like enemies).

On PC, the game's base release will cost $29.99 digitally, and its Digital Deluxe edition will cost $39.99. In conjunction with Deep Silver, the game's deluxe edition will come to PC and PlayStation 4 on digital storefronts and retail also for $39.99. In a new making of video, Crytek finally pulls back the curtain and shows off its upcoming PlayStation VR title, Robinson: The Journey. The exploration-driven game, which plops you on an alien planet filled with dinosaurs, was first shown at Paris Games Week last year.

In the video, Crytek's team of developers discuss the ups and downs of virtual reality development, as well as showcase a few snippets of pre-alpha gameplay and beautiful concept art. Robinson: The Journey tells the story of a boy who was part of an exploration team. While being sent to colonize a planet, something goes wrong with his ship, and it crash lands on this dangerous planet where dinosaurs roam freely. You'll follow a hovering robot who guides you through this hostile land.

The latest update in Battlefield 1's gameplay video series features the vehicles of World War I. Interviews with developers and designers reveal how the models were made to feel like their real-life counterparts.

Previous trailers discussed the various weapons in the game. Air combat and armored warfare will play a major role in each multiplayer match, so a lot of thought was given to the functions and design of each fighter plane and bomber. Get a sense of how each these vehicles were designed to give players different tactics for maneuvering around a warzone below.
