EA kicks off E3 week with its EA Play event, and Madden 17 features a variety of changes for its Connected Franchise Mode, including a long-standing fan request and nods to accessibility.

Play The MomentIn a continued drive to make Madden more accessible, Connected Franchise now features an option to play only select moments from a game. This means you'd play through situations like the opening drive, key third downs, whenever anyone's in the red zone, etc. The game's normal sim engine will bridge the rest of the game.

First Gameplay Hints At Several New Additions

During today's Mortal Kombat X Pro League Finals, NetherRealm's Ed Boon took to the stage to show off the first gameplay footage of the upcoming DC universe brawler, Injustice 2. According to Boon, the project has been kept secret for two years within the studio.

The trailer shows new characters like Supergirl and Gorilla Grodd making their first appearances, as well as more involved environmental interactions. It shows more intricate moves, including Superman pummeling Batman through the sky and Supergirl getting tossed through a train car.

Racing fans have plenty to be excited about in the latest trailer for Gran Turismo Sport. Polyphony Digital's latest title hits PlayStation 4 on November 15.

Racing game Moto Racer 4 is in development for compatibility with PlayStation VR, and along with the news come the game's first teaser trailer showing what its like to be put in the driver's seat.

Players will be able to take to the tracks on both high-speed roads and dirt motocross courses in virtual reality. The game features 15 single and multiplayer game modes including time trails and championship, and will also feature split-screen multiplayer mode for offline racing.

The Technomancer releases in a few weeks, dropping players into a Mars in conflict. Corporations wage war against one another, while mutants roam the underground expanses. You play as a titular Technomancer, a warrior that uses electric attacks to stun and annihilate your opponents. Take a look at the new E3 trailer for the game to get acquainted with the game's world as well as some of the faces – friendly and otherwise – that you'll be meeting along the way.

Players can tackle missions using combat prowess, diplomacy, or subterfuge, gaining loot and XP along the way. The RPG has a crafting system so that players can create new gear for their character and companions, too.

Paragon Enters Open Beta In August, Big Changes Coming

Epic’s Paragon has been in early access testing for a few months now, with a retail version out this week in stores. It won’t be long before you can give it a try for free, as open beta is just two months away.

The studio announced this morning that Paragon’s open beta period (which has become synonymous with “launch” for free-to-play games) begins on August 16. If you are interested in playing early, you can do so without fear of an account reset. None will be happening.

Epic has also revealed the next hero coming to the game. Khaimera wields two axes and can pounce on enemies to stun them and gain the upper hand. He'll be available on June 21.

Funcom's open-world survival game Conan Exiles is targeting an early access release early this fall, and today brought new details about what players can expect. Along with the news is a new gameplay trailer featuring pre-alpha footage.

The official Steam page for the game opened today, and early access is set to launch on September 13. A teaser trailer was released in January showing off a bit of the world set in the harsh lands of Conan the Barbarian, and now an official trailer for the game has been released with pre-alpha locations, combat, building mechanics, and more.
