The second season of Marvel's Jessica Jones has been a long time coming. The first season premiered on Netflix back in 2015, but had to wait its turn as Marvel's other series came to the fore. After more than two years of waiting, we finally have our first look at the second season.

Patapon 2 Is Getting The Remaster Treatment On PS4

Last year, Patapon (one of the most original games on PSP) received a full HD remaster on PS4. This year, fans of the series will be happy to know the sequel is following suit.

Announced as part of this year's PSX show, Patapon 2 Remastered includes the potential for 4K output (on PS4 Pro), a new customizable Patapon players can create and outfit in different ways to suit their needs. The Remaster also includes new Patapons, commands, and miracles.

Our TakeI've never played the Patapon series, but I remember hearing that Patapon 2 was the pinnacle of the series. When the remaster for the original came out, I remember thinking "I'll just wait for Patapon 2 Remastered." My patience pays dividends!

You May Be Able To Change Your PSN Name Sometime Next Year

This year's PSX wasn't exactly chock-full of announcements, but it did contain at least one piece of info most PlayStation players should be excited about: A hint about when players will be able to change their PlayStation Network handle.

When asked by Kinda Funny's Greg Miller during a post-conference panel (at around 2 hours and 13 minutes into the video) about when players could expect to be able to change their names on the service, Layden had a witty response: "The elves back the North Pole have been working on that for quite some time," Layden said. He began talking about the intricacy of such a task before being cut off by someone in the crowd. "Let me put it this way: I hope we'll see events occur that you don't have to ask me that question next PSX."

Our TakeThis is the biggest announcement of the show so far for me. I've wanted to change my handle for years; I've grown as a player, as a person, and honestly it's weird that my current PSN handle is Nintendo-related. Hopefully I'll be able to change that soon.

What To Watch This Weekend: The Overwatch League, Capcom Cup, And Super Smash Bros.

It's a big week for esports! Many major games are having huge events this weekend, making for one jam-packed weekend. Here's what you can expect as you settle in for what could be a long Winter.

Major sports franchises have been buying into The Overwatch League, and we've been getting our first glimpse of what this multimillion-dollar competition will look like during its preseason. You can watch teams like the San Francisco Shock, London Spitfire, and more compete and see whether you want to invest in any of them! (Stream / Schedule)

It's also Capcom Cup weekend, and this year it's a two-fer: First, the Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite Battle For the Stones tournament, which collects every past Evo champion for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, mashes them with six winners the infinity (which offer bracket and game-altering abilities throughout the tournament), and adds a few more qualifiers for kicks will wrap up tomorrow. (Stream and Schedule)

MediEvil Is Being Remastered For PS4

MediEvil Is Being Remastered For PS4

During this year's PSX keynote, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment America Shawn Layden revealed that, hot on the heels of the success of the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy remaster, next up on Sony's remaster list is MediEvil. MediEvil is a classic platforming, action series that combined fantasy with humor and, though the series' popularity has never risen to the levels of Crash, Mario, or Sonic, Sir Daniel Fortesque has had his fair share of fans over the years.

The brief trailer at the end of Layden's announcement didn't showcase much except that the game would be coming to PS4, be in 4K, and that more details would be available "soon." No details on whether or not this is just the first game or the whole series.

God Of War Director Reveals Length Of Game

God Of War Director Reveals Length Of Game

During the keynote presentation of PSX 2017, God of War director Cory Barlog had a quick discussion about the game's progress. Despite the lack of a new trailer or gameplay footage, Barlog did break down how long play testers were taking to get through the whole game:

We are in the play testing phase. In fact, we just finished up a playtest. For the last four or five playlists we've been clocking in a total playtime that is somewhere in the arena of 25-35 hours.

Obviously, Barlog is talking about game that's unpolished, so keep that in mind, but that 10 hour discrepancy is interesting. Is it just a matter of playtesters grappling with the game's difficulty or maybe there are side quests and optional activities to complete?
