Bandai Namco Delays Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom

March is quickly becoming an insane month for game releases. Ubisoft recently delayed Far Cry 5 to March and now Bandai Namco is pushing the release of Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom into March as well. The upcoming role-playing game from Level-5 was originally set to release on January 19, but fans will now have to wait until March 23 to experience all the magic and whimsy that's sure to be packed into Ni No Kuni II.

In a press release, Level-5 president and CEO Akihiro Hino says, "In order to ensure that everything works perfectly and above all [maintains the] entertaining and the high quality standards of Level-5 and Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. we can only celebrate the release of Ni No Kuni II on 23 March. On behalf of the whole Level-5 team, I thank you for your patience and further support."

Ni No Kuni II looks to be more ambitious than its predecessor with a new kingdom-building mechanic. And for more info on the improved combat system, check out our impressions from TGS.

Destiny 2 Update Addresses Content Locked By Curse Of Osiris

Destiny 2 Update Addresses Content Locked By Curse Of Osiris

Destiny 2 developer Bungie is implementing a hot fix to the game addressing player complaints regarding the Curse of Osiris expansion locking players out of certain content, which is set to go live along with today's update.

The expansion locked those who didn't own it out of the Prestige Leviathan raid and weekly Prestige Nightfall strike, for example, by raising the power cap. This content was accessible before Curse of The Osiris' release via a lower power cap. As such, the lockout also affected a player's ability to fully complete the game's trophies and achievements, since one includes the need to play a Prestige activity.

In a blog post discussing the matter (click for full details), the studio walks through its reasoning behind the initial idea, as well as what it's going to do in the new update (text from Bungie):

Here's What You Need To Know About Grand Theft Auto Online's New Doomsday Update

Last week, Rockstar revealed that the new Doomsday update would be dropping for Grand Theft Auto Online and debuted a trailer that showcased GTA leaning into its more zany side, with flying cars and talk of apocalypse prevention. The update will be going live today and, in the meantime, Rockstar's debuted a list of features for Doomsday. Here's what you need to know.

The DLC Is Pretty HeftyThe DLC doesn't include one heist but three, and they're big, according to Rockstar: "Each of the three massive Heist acts that comprises the story of The Doomsday Heist involves negotiating multiple ruthless Freemode prep missions, tactical setup operations, and experimental weapons and vehicles - each ending with an over-the-top finale that brings a payoff big enough to comfortably share with your fellow crew members."

One Of The New Vehicles Sounds Amazing
In the list of updates, Rockstar notes that one of bigger additions is a flying vehicle called The Avenger and is described as "a vertical take-off, turreted, flying fortress/experimental weapons lab in the sky/death-spitting collateral damage producer that practically flies itself."
