Watch The Extended Trailer For Ready Player One

The cinematic adaptation of Ernest Cline's pop culture mash-up is barreling toward release, and Steven Speilberg is making his oeuvre a central part of the conversation around the film.

The latest Ready Player One trailer starts with a greatest hits mashup chronicling Speilberg's remarkable run, highlighting films like E.T., Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Jurassic Park before showcasing some new shots of the film. Set in a dystopian future, the film follows the journey of Wade Watts, one of the millions of people who spend more time in the virtual reality game Oasis than they do in the real world. When the creator of Oasis dies, he reveals he has hidden an easter egg in the game that promises untold fortunes and the rights to his corporation, causing the biggest treasure hunt the world (virtual or otherwise) has ever seen.

Where's Our Dragon Ball FighterZ Review?

Where's Our Dragon Ball FighterZ Review?

You might be seeing reviews of Dragon Ball FighterZ going up today. For our part, we've chosen to hold off for now, as we haven't had a chance to play on the game's final online servers. In a game where online play is a huge part of the experience, we'd like to test what FighterZ has to offer online before rendering our final judgement.

However, we've played a lot of the game already, and our impressions of FighterZ are pretty strong. The more I delve into training mode, the more I learn about FighterZ, which is great; before playing the full game, I was a little afraid Arc System Works was going to go a bit too simple to appeal to casual Dragon Ball fans, and I'm happy to be proven wrong. Despite the simple control scheme, there are plenty of ways you can approach your opponent, and I never felt completely helpless, or that any one option was overwhelmingly powerful. Complete novices will still have to do some genre learning, but the fundamentals are simple enough that it won't be too much of a chore.

How To Unlock Android 21, SSGSS Goku And Vegeta In Dragon Ball FighterZ

You'll be able to play as most of the cast of Dragon Ball FighterZ right off the bat, but you'll have to unlock three of them. They're worth it, too, as Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta have some of the strongest super moves in the game, and Android 21 has some interesting moves that should make her a unique choice for many players. Depending on which edition of the game you bought, it might take some work to unlock these characters, but we've a quick to make sure you can play as three characters as soon as possible.

Super Saiyan Blue Goku and VegetaIf you pre-ordered the game or bought the "Day One" edition of the game, you'll receive a code that immediately unlocks both Goku and Vegeta's Blue-haired from the go.

If you haven't or didn't, you'll need to work for them. There are two ways to unlock them. To unlock SSGSS Vegeta, you can either earn 300,000 Zenny or complete the Extreme Gravity Spaceship Course on hard difficulty with an A-Rank. To unlock SSGSS Goku, you can either earn 500,000 Zenny or complete the the Hyperbolic Time Chamber Course on hard difficulty with an A-Rank. Reader Discussion – What Are Your Thoughts On Nintendo Labo?

Nintendo had a surprise reveal earlier this week, showing off its cardboard-software hybrid Nintendo Labo. Oriented towards kids, Nintendo Labo requires players to assemble cardboard into different toys, such as a fishing rod or RC cars. Then, you can attach your Nintendo Switch to see these toys come to life.

The announcement garnered a lot of attention and varied reactions on social media, and now we want to know what you think. Is Nintendo Labo something you would buy for yourself? For your child? Do you think it holds promise, or will kids easily rip it apart after only minutes of use?

Sony Partners With Nike To Introduce PlayStation-Themed Sneakers

Sony recently teamed up with NBA All-Star Paul George and Nike to create some slick-looking sneakers based off the PlayStation's design. The shoe, called the PG-2 PlayStation Colorway, looks pretty cool – whether you're a basketball fan or not.

In a post on the PlayStation blog, Paul George calls the partnership between Nike and PlayStation a "long time coming," and that he's loved video games since he was young. "Just like basketball, I’ve had a knack for video games since I was a kid. When I was 8 or 9, I used to amaze my uncle and all his friends by consistently beating them in all the sports games we’d play."
