Raise A Dragon And Manage A Café In Harvest Moon Creator's New Game

Publisher Aksys Games has announced a new title from the creator of Harvest Moon, Yasuhiro Wada. The game is called Little Dragons Café.

The story follows a twin brother and sister who run a café. One day, their mother falls into a deep sleep, and the only way to wake her up is to raise a dragon. While managing three other employees, players have to learn to run the business and breed their scaled companion. As the story progresses, players can expand their café by learning new recipes, exploring the terrain for ingredients, growing and catching food, and helping their neighbors.

Akibo Shieh, founder and CEO of Aksys Games and a good friend of Wada's, says the game has been in development for two years, though the two have talked about teaming up for a new title for five years.

ReBoot TV Show Revival Trailer Doesn’t Feel Like The Original

The reboot of the ‘90s animated CG television series looks like half Power Rangers half unwatchable teen angst.

The original ReBoot wasn’t perfect, but for a lot of kids growing up in the ‘90s, the first fully-CG animated show seemed like a glimpse into the future.

Next month, Netflix will debut ReBoot: The Guardian Code, a mix of live action and CG that might leave some fans scratching their heads. In the show, four teenagers are recruited by a computer system named V.E.R.A to become guardians and protect the world from cyber attacks. The debut trailer is a little cringeworthy, but we’ll leave final judgement up to you.

Net Neutrality Repealed On April 23

The Federal Communication Commission (FCC) has published its order repealing Net Neutrality, and in doing so revealed the date of its official end – April 23.

Net Neutrality regulations keeping Internet Service Providers (ISP) from possibly introducing different pay tiers, throttling service, and other anti-consumer practices.

States are currently suing the FCC on the issue, and a legislative fight is on the horizon to prevent the repeal, so April 23 isn't as definitive as it sounds – but the wheels are certainly in motion.

EA Hosting EA Play Ahead Of E3 Once Again

For the past few years, Electronic Arts has staked their own claim on gamer attention away from Electronics Entertainment Expo with EA Play, just before E3. EA is at it again in 2018, and has a lot to prove.

This year, the mega-publisher is hosting EA Play, their show separate from the rest of the industry's centralized location, on June 9 - 11. While EA has not said exactly when their usual conference-style show will be, the hours for Saturday start at 2:00 PM, which implies the conference should be just ahead of that.

Like previous years, EA Play is open to the public in the form of tickets, with demo stations and entertainment for anyone going. This year, EA says that Bioware's anticipated shooter Anthem will be playable to the public, as well as the as-of-yet unnamed Battlefield title scheduled for this year.
