Rocket-Surfing Sniper Nails Shot Of A Lifetime In Fortnite

Rocket-Surfing Sniper Nails Shot Of A Lifetime In Fortnite

In Fortnite, you have to be prepared to face threats from all directions. I have no earthly idea how you can prepare for a sniper blasting across the map on top of a rocket, though.

As a squad battle came down to one final kill, BullNizzle kindly asked his teammate to shoot a rocket at him. As the rocket approached, BullNizzle hopped on top and took a ride towards the enemy encampment. He zeroed in on his target and with one quick-scope shot, it was Victory Royale for him and his squad. It's truly a sight to behold. Check out the clip here.

BullNizzle plays Fortnite as part of Avant Gaming, an Austrailian esports organization, so clearly he's had a lot of practice for this specific scenario, right?

Turok And Turok 2 Now Available On Xbox One

As reported last week, the first two Turok games are on Xbox One today.

The remasters are coming in fairly hot, but they come from NightDive Studios, who recently had to announce delays to its System Shock project. Turok is likely not a panic button, as the timing is far too compressed for that to be true, but it's definitely convenient for them.

The games are on the Xbox Live store now at $20 each. You can check out a trailer below and decide if you want to do any dinosaur hunting on your own.

New Splatoon 2 Map Goby Arena And Weapon Drop Today

With the success of Splatoon 2 worldwide, Nintendo has been keen to ensure a steady frequency of content for it. This week, a new variation on the dualies and a new map arrive for players.

The weapon, the Dark Tetra Dualies, which are dual pistols with a heavy emphasis on dodgerolls. The guns looks like basketball sneakers, which keeps in theme with the new map, Goby Arena. The map resembles something like Madison Square Garden with players working on opposite sides of the giant basketball court eager to mark their turf.

The Dark Tetra Dualies came out earlier today, with the Goby Arena map launching any minute now. You should be able to charge the net with your inkling by the end of the day, at latest.

Weekend Warrior – The Big 3-0-0

Unlike the frozen tundra that was Minneapolis last weekend, this Saturday looks to be mostly crispy-clear skies and cooler temps. The environment is undoubtedly catering the weather around Game Informer's big 300th issue celebration. If you're in the Minneapolis area on Saturday then we'd love to see you anytime between noon and 11 p.m. at the Fulton Brewery Taproom, 414 North 6th Ave. Aside from the party, we're also playing Yakuza, Fortnite, Red Dead Redemption, and watching the Oscars. Tell us what you're up to this weekend as well.

Jon Bowman (@MrGameAndWrite) – I'm taking a day trip up north to play Fortnite with some buddies and create Ultra MegaDen (trademarked). Other than that, I'll be going to Game Informer's 300th magazine shindig (which you totally should come to if you're in the Minneapolis area).

Prey Twitter Account Teasing Possible Moon-Related Content

Prey Twitter Account Teasing Possible Moon-Related Content

The Twitter account for Arkane Studios' and Bethesda's Prey has been fairly active for the entire month, but the latest tweet is raising some eyebrows.

"Do we really know what’s out there?" the account tweeted as a caption to a video of the camera slowly panning over to the moon. It raises the question of whether Prey DLC exists and if you'll be going to the moon. It is likely no coincidence that this tease came the same day Bethesda announced its planned E3 stage show.

While a critical darling, Prey did not sell particularly well. Pete Hines, vice president of Bethesda Games, has expressed the publisher's commitment to their single-player games, even if they don't sell. Additionally Prey content would line up fairly well with that. Prey was released last May on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Bethesda Returning With Showcase At E3 2018

For the fourth year in a row, Bethesda Softworks will host another showcase the weekend before E3 in 2018.

There's currently little news of what's on the horizon from the publisher, which prides itself on single-player stories, so we have very little to go off regarding what Bethesda plans to show. However, tthis announcement trailer gives hints of what's to come. Papercraft versions of characters and creatures from Bethesda's various properties are featured, including Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Quake, Prey, Doom, Evil Within, and Wolfenstein.

We likely won't see anything about Prey, Wolfenstein, Evil Within, or Dishonored since those franchises either released new entries within the past year or put out the last of its downloadable content. News about content updates for Elder Scrolls: Legends, Elder Scrolls Online, and Fallout Shelter are safe assumptions. After going through a closed beta and early access phase last year, there's a strong chance Quake Champions will get a release date. The showcase would also be a prime time to announce a Doom sequel or another id Software project since it will have been over two years since the reboot released.
