Report: Call Of Duty 2018 Is Likely Black Ops IV

Kotaku reports that this year's Call of Duty game, confirmed by Activision in their last earnings call with investors, is exceedingly likely to be the fourth game in the Black Ops series.

The news site confirms with their own sources, as well as this suspicious logo worn by Houston Rockets point guard James Harden in this tweet by ESPN.

The logo, as Kotaku points out, looks similar to the Black Ops III logo with one extra I. Wrong by the standards of Roman numerals (unless you're an old clock), but strikingly similar all the same.

Devil May Cry PC Free On Twitch Prime

Capcom and Twitch announced last month that Amazon Prime accounts attached Twitch would get Devil May Cry free at the end of February. For whatever reason, that release was delayed, but has gone live now.

The release is one-third of the upcoming Devil May Cry HD Collection, a remaster of a previous remaster containing the first, second, and third Devil May Cry games. The first game, directed by Bayonetta and Resident Evil 2 director Hideki Kamiya, is the game being given away here.

Devil May Cry was created when a glitch in Resident Evil 4's firing physics resulted in juggling enemies in the air, prompting Kamiya and Resident Evil 4 director Shinji Mikami to spin the glitch off as the basis of DMC's iconic bullet juggling. Director Hideaki Itsuno took over the series with Devil May Cry 2 midway through the project, and from scratch on the third game.

Ys VIII Launching On PC In April

After numerous delays, Ys VIII should be finally hitting PC in April.

The game was originally scheduled to release on January 30 but was delayed indefinitely ten days before release due to issues stemming from PC specifications and the porting process not being able to deal with them well. In an interview posted today on Youtube channel Greg's RPG HeaveN, NISA president Takuro Yamashita confirmed the April date.

"Translation-wise, there’s no problem, but we’ve had some small issues about porting to the Steam version," Yamashita stated.

The State Of Washington Passes Law To Protect Net Neutrality

The state of Washington has become the first state in the U.S. to pass a law protecting net neutrality.

The FCC lead by chairman Ajit Pai voted 3-2 along party lines to remove the Obama-era regulation that prevented internet providers from treat content unevenly. Under current rules, internet providers cannot charge extra fees to work around any blocks or limitations of internet content they impose. The regulation is currently set to dissolve completely on April 23, but Washington is looking to protect its residents from that dissolution.

The state legislature introduced House Bill 2282 after debate about passing a law or establishing net neutrality through executive order. It was determined through floor debate that passing it neutrality as a law would make it more difficult to challenge in court.

Call of Duty: WWII Permanently Adds Gun Game And Prop Hunt

The Resistance event brought a notable revolution to Call of Duty: WWII with new weapons, maps, and modes, which concluded on February 27. However, the two party modes Gun Game and Prop Hunt brought some no-nonsense levity to the multiplayer sphere that its community didn't want to see retreat. With a large swath of fans clamoring for them to be permanently added to the game, Sledgehammer Games has listened and announced that they will be in the Featured playlist of modes for good. Since Prop Hunt will be permanent, the new maps Anthropoid, Occupation, and Valkyrie will be added to the mode next week.

Happy TWOsday, everyone! What's with the pun, you ask? We have TWO additions we're excited about:

Come on down to South Park and we'll make a trip to the Disneyland of Mexican restaurants. From Dusk Till Casa Bonita, the latest DLC for South Park: The Fractured But Whole, is set to release on March 20 and introduces a new hero type and story campaign.

Mysterion's sister has gotten involved with the Vamp Kids of South Park, who have taken over Casa Bonita as a headquarters. It's up to you and the gang to restore order to Cartman's favorite restaurant and rescue Mysterion's sister from the influence of the Vamp Kids. The new Netherborn class can wield four powers of the occult and works alongside a support Witch named Henrietta, the Goth. The DLC also allows you to dress up in goth outfits, because if there's one thing that can beat a Vamp Kid, it's a Goth.

From Dusk Till Casa Bonita will be available for $12 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. For more on The Fractured But Whole, read our review.

The Oregon Trail Is Now Playable In The Palms Of Your Hands

The Oregon Trail, an educational game played in countless classrooms over the years, is now available as a stand-alone handheld. It's a darling recreation of nostalgia, completely realized in full color and with all of the original sound effects. The handheld itself even looks like an Apple II and the power is toggled by pushing in a miniature floppy disk. The handheld, which is made by Basic Fun, is available only at Target retail locations for $24.99. There's no word yet on when it will be made available through Target's website.

If you'd rather get the whole family together to eventually succumb to dysentery, The Oregon Trail is also available as a card game. We haven't gotten our hands on the handheld yet, but you can check out Polygon's article for more pictures of the device itself.

Our TakeThe real burning question now is when can we expect The Oregon Trail to blaze its way onto the Switch.

Luke Cage Season 2 Premiering In June

Luke Cage, or Harlem's hero, is returning for its second season this on Netflix June 22.

The trailer features the same kind of hip-hop music frequently heard in its first season, as well as Cage on fire and being shot at point blank, therefore ruining even more of his attire. Two new villains to the series include John McIver, aka Bushmaster, and Tilda Johnson, or Nightshade. Though Iron Fist is not shown in the trailer, he will be making an appearance, though his capacity is unclear. Misty Knight is also returning, this time with a bionic arm akin to the comics.

Man At Arms Brings Nier: Automata's Virtuous Treaty Sword To The Forge

From Shovel Knight's identifying weapon of choice to For Honor's ancient arsenal, the Man at Arms: Reforged YouTube channel has consistently brought numerous relics from video games and more to life with their blacksmithing prowess. One of their latest endeavors has taken them to one of their more technically detailed works: 2B's Virtuous Treaty sword from Nier: Automata.

Combining modern techniques to mill the intricate overlays and traditional methods to forge the blade itself, the product is truly a sight to behold, especially with its unique handle wrap. You can watch the making of the sword in the 20-minute video below, which appropriately concludes with cosplayer Lunatique Rose swinging the blade at some fruit in her equally impressive 2B outfit.
