Twitch Introduces Free Games With Prime

Twitch, a subsidiary of Amazon, has announced a new program called "Free Games with Prime," giving away a collection of free games with an associated Amazon Prime account.

Amazon and Twitch have been no stranger to giving away games through Twitch, recently giving away Devil May Cry HD on the PC. The new program, however, significantly ups the volume of the free games and some may argue the quality, as well.

Starting March 15 through March 31, Twitch Prime subscribers will receive the following PC titles:

Shamrock & Awe Returns To Call of Duty: WWII With A Pot Of Free Content

Shamrock & Awe Returns To Call of Duty: WWII With A Pot Of Free Content

The Resistance event may have come to an end on February 27, but a new event has cropped up that will push Call of Duty: WWII players' luck with Operation: Shamrock & Awe, which has started today and will run until April 3.

The limited-time event will feature exclusive cosmetics with new uniforms and camos, but a brand new cosmetic called charms have made their debut. Considering how pistol grip camos are invisible unless players taunt with their weapons, this is an agreeable way to offset that strange commodity.

All players will have the chance to earn the M-31 (submachine gun) and MG 81 (light machine gun) through accepting contracts. In addition, the tight, chaotic map Shipment from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has been reintroduced as Shipment: 1944. The map is currently available for season pass owners and will be available to everyone on March 16. There are also a slew of standard reticles, camos, charms, uniforms, weapon variants, and emotes that have been implemented permanently.

Alleged Concept Art Surfaces From Canceled Star Wars: Battlefront IV

Alleged Concept Art Surfaces From Canceled Star Wars: Battlefront IV

The aftermath of Free Radical's canceled Star Wars: Battlefront III has been quite the podrace. It seems that a year doesn't go by where leaked footage of the game in its pre-alpha state or conflicting reports on the game's internal development isn't disclosed in some fashion, but 2018 adds a new wrinkle to the saga with probable concept art for the early planning stages of Battlefront IV.

While a small amount of the concept art has leaked before (such as one of the images of "Dark Obi-Wan'), the vast majority of these pieces are new. While the Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith video game and The Force Unleashed are some of the adaptations that toy around with alternate timelines, this Battlefront seems like it might have made this a key part of its experience.

There are Light Side versions of Darth Maul, Count Dooku, and Asajj Ventress, and on the flip side, Dark Side variants of a younger Obi-Wan and Leia. Numerous storyboard panels twist scenes from the films with different settings and characters. In this game's timeline, Palpatine would've revealed himself to be a Sith early on. Other scenarios show Naboo falling to the Confederacy, the Empire attacking the planet, and a duel between Yoda and Anakin.

Devil May Cry Costumes Coming To Monster Hunter

Devil May Cry Costumes Coming To Monster Hunter

Capcom has announced today that a Dante costume is coming to Monster Hunter World for hunters who want their party to start getting a little crazy.

The reveal came in the form of a near pitch-perfect trailer that apes the sights and sounds of Devil May Cry. The outfit itself is just Dante's clothes and a wig, so it is not a full armor set like Aloy and Ryu, which were gotten in previous events. It also has male and female variations.

Additionally, it looks like it either also has a new weapon or acts as a skin for the Charge Blade, which seems to extend out into the Rebellion, Dante's sword. Much like Ryu, it also looks like there is an emote that also does damage, this time being Dante shooting guns. The Ryu emotes cost $3.99 each. Like other Monster Hunter World costumes, it is assumed the costume itself will be free upon completing an event quest.

Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire Delayed Until May

Obsidian's Pillars of Eternity set a high bar for classic-style RPGs when it released in 2015.Considering its warm reception, it shouldn't come as a surprise that fans have been clamoring for another game in that universe. Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire looks to be just as massive as its predecessor, but that level of ambition carries a price. Today, Obsidian announced that the sequel's release is slipping from April to May, as the team works on polishing the game.

The delay puts its release at a little more than a month beyond what was previously announced. Deadfire was originally slated for an April 3 launch, but now it will be coming to PC, Mac, and Linux on May 8. Console versions will be coming later this year.
