Ninja Theory Aiming To Donate Hellblade Xbox One Money To Mental Health America

Ninja Theory has announced that they'll be donating upwards of $50,000 to Mental Health America depending on whether the sales of the Xbox One version of Hellblade hit certain thresholds.

The developer has set up two tiers for the first week sales of Hellblade on Xbox One until April 18. The first tier, a $25,000 donation, is achieved if the game breaks 50,000 sales in the first week. Similarly, the donation amount doubles if the sales do as well, warranting a $50,000 donation for 100,000 copies sold.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice releases tomorrow on Xbox One. You can find our review for the PlayStation 4 version here.

Iconoclasts Is Officially Coming To Switch With New Difficulty Options And Boss Rush

Iconoclasts, the excellent Metroid-inspired platformer that released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Vita earlier this year, is coming to Switch with a few additions.

It doesn't have a specific release date other than "later this year", but the Switch version of the game will have expanded difficulty options and a boss rush mode. Players will be able to change difficulty in the middle of the game in case you want to drop the challenge for one specific sequence or boss. There will also be, "a difficulty that lets you get past harder challenges without dying," according to the game's developer, Joakim Sandberg. The difficulty options and boss rush modes will also be made available for the PlayStation 4, Vita, and PC versions of the game.

For more on Iconoclasts, you can read our 9 out of 10 review here. You can also read our spoiler-filled chat with the game's sole developer, Joakim Sandberg, here, but I wouldn't recommend doing that if you haven't played yet and are waiting for the Switch version of the game.

Morrowind Leaked As New Xbox One Backward Compatible Title

A reddit user discovered that The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and at least three other games are coming to Xbox One backward compatibility later today.

The info, spotted by Reddit user nuton, showed Morrowind on Microsoft's online store but the listing since been taken down. Original Xbox games Destroy All Humans!, Full Spectrum Warrior, and MX Unleashed were also spotted. The description for Morrowind in the screenshot below says it's the Game of the Year edition, meaning it comes with the full game and two expansions, Bloodmoon and Tribunal. Other original Xbox games, if any, have yet to be discovered for launch today. The titles currently don't have a price tag, which means they can't be purchased right now.

This news was probably supposed to be revealed during Microsoft's next Inside Xbox episode that goes live at 3:30 p.m. PT today. The Microsoft-hosted video will pore over details on a "big update" for Xbox backward compatibility. The current original Xbox lineup includes Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Ninja Gaiden Black, Psychonauts, and Crimson Skies. Each title costs $9.99.

Former Rockstar North President Leslie Benzies Hits Snag In Lawsuit Against Take-Two

Former Rockstar North President Leslie Benzies, whose credits include titles like Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto V, Max Payne 3, and Red Dead Redemption, has suffered a setback in court regarding his $150 million lawsuit against Rockstar Games and parent organization Take-Two Interactive. The suit alleges that Take-Two owes him $150 million in unpaid royalties as part of a profit-sharing plan dating back to 2009.

In 2016, Benzies' attorneys issued a statement that Benzies' employers enticed him to take a sabbatical in 2014 before forcing him out. The suit claims that during his sabbatical, Rockstar Games co-founders and executives Sam and Dan Houser changed the terms of Benzies' royalty agreement to distribute Benzies' royalties to them. The suit was filed on March 23, 2015 to demand "exact financial parity" with the Housers. Shortly after filing the suit, Benzies claims he was not allowed inside Rockstar North's studio and was told to leave by the office manager.
