UFC 3 Gets New Icon Edition, Adds Five Legends To Roster

EA Sports has announced a new digital version of UFC 3 in hopes of enticing new players to jump into the Octagon. UFC 3 Icon Edition swaps out former featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor for current flyweight champ and pound-for-pound best fighter Demetrious Johnson as cover athlete, and grants a few bonuses for Ultimate Team players.

Players who pick up the Icon Edition will get one permanent champion fighter and move to add to their Ultimate Team. Players can choose between Johnson, McGregor, former strawweight champion Joanna Jędrzejczyk, former welterweight and middleweight champ Georges St-Pierre, and former middleweight champion Anderson Silva. Icon Edition owners will also receive additional content for the mode.

For those who already own UFC 3, EA Sports is delivering a free update that promises gameplay improvements, as well as the addition of five former UFC fighters. Tito Ortiz, Matt Serra, Wanderlei Silva, Mirko Cro Cop, and Kimbo Slice join the roster in the new update coming to all UFC 3 players for free.

August Cover Revealed – Destiny 2: Forsaken

August Cover Revealed – Destiny 2: Forsaken

Destiny 2 has had more than its fair share of ups and downs since launch. Various blogs and roadmaps Bungie has released over the past year document how the developer has responded to fan feedback, improving the many loops and loot at play in its shooter. But while players continue to invest dozens of hours in this online shooter, many others find the experience lacking; after some communicative snafus (including an deceptive experience bar) and two expansions that added more activities but didn't do enough to make players' investment feel meaningful, the repetitive grind and lack of a long-term endgame continue to rear their ugly heads.

But this has happened before. The original Destiny launched with similar issues, but with The Taken King expansion, Bungie managed to turn the ship around; because of this narrative, the studio knows expectations are high for Forsaken to do the same for Destiny 2. Matt Miller recently had the chance to take an extensive, hours-long look at the nearly every aspect of the expansion, playing several hours of the campaign and getting hands-on time with Gambit and some of the other key changes hitting in September, including the new weapon slots, supers, and more. And while one can never be certain about the long tail of living game, what we've seen has us excited for Destiny 2's second year.

You Can Catch Squirtle With Sunglasses In Pokémon Go This Sunday

Last month, Niantic announced that its monthly Community Day in July would focus on the water starter, Squirtle. Players knew this meant a high probability of a Shiny variant of the blue turtle, but Niantic has announced that players have a chance to encounter Squirtle sporting sunglasses in homage to the Squirtle Squad from the anime.

By completing special Research Tasks during Squirtle Community Day this Sunday, July 8, you can encounter Squirtle wearing sunglasses. No word on if this means you won't be able to find Shiny Squirtles in the wild as you've been able to with the featured Pokémon in each Community Day to this point. Either way, if you evolve a Wartortle into a Blastoise during the three-hour window of Community Day, it'll know the exclusive move Hydro Cannon.

Attention, Trainers: if you complete Field Research tasks during Community Day, you may have a chance to encounter Squirtle sporting sunglasses.
