While Far Cry 5 took place entirely in the rural but dangerous Hope County, the DLC has been eager to stretch its legs by taking place in far off places. The newest DLC, Lost on Mars, takes players into space onto the red planet.
Lost on Mars is the second piece of DLC for Far Cry 5, following the Hours of Darkness Vietnam DLC, and takes Far Cry 5's Nick Rye and series veteran Hurk to Mars via a blue levitating light to stop an alien invasion at its origin. You can check out the teaser trailer below.
The DLC is part of the season pass and will be available on July 17. If you want to hear what we thought about the last DLC for Far Cry 5, Hours of Darkness, you can check out our conversation about it here.

When Yooka-Laylee, the Banjo & Kazooie spiritual successor developed by Playtonic Games, was originally crowdfunded, one of the stretch goals included a "64-Bit Tonic." This would transform the game into a N64 world of low-res textures and low polygon counts to better evoke the nostalgia of the era.
Today, Playtonic provided an update on this feature with a screenshot of the demaster in progress.
The new mode seemingly looks a bit blurrier and lowers the polygon count by a lot. Playtonic didn't expand on it much beyond the screenshot, but did say they're continuing to work on it.

It seems that the Fortnite weirdness never ends, as photographer Sela Shiloni found our missing Durr Burger in the middle of the California desert. What originally seemed like it could only be the product of photoshop turned out to be very real, and very strange.
What.... is this... I’m in the middle of the desert why is this here??? pic.twitter.com/oTMiGc0Wno
Shiloni posted more images and video on twitter, showing more hints as to the possible future of the game in season five. Nothing screams safe like walking up to a giant burger only to see signs that say "This site is unstable. Beware of possible effects." Despite this, Shiloni risked life and limb and possible burger tumors to get closer and share his discovery on Twitter.

Although Fortnite may dominate the headlines, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds still enjoys a more than healthy streaming population. However, one of the game's most popular players was banned from his account last night after hopping in a flying car and soaring across the map.
Shroud, the second-most-followed streamer on Twitch, decided to ride shotgun in a hacker's flying car while playing PUBG last night. Despite being high-profile enough to have weapon skins with his own logo in the game, Shroud was hit with a one-month ban for his activity.
"I was trying to have a good time," Shroud says. "Obviously I knew what the f--- I was doing. Which wasn’t a great idea. It seemed like a great idea, but it wasn’t a great idea."
