Free-To-Play Forza Street Is Available Now For PC

Last month, Turn 10 accidentally leaked news of a mobile and PC-centered Forza game called Forza Street. That game quietly launched on the Microsoft store today. The early details were true, and the game is a streamlined free-to-play racer. The store page mentions the game is a pick-up-and-play experience with shorter races for "anytime, anywhere."

Forza Street was initially rumored to release on iOS and Android in addition to PC, but so far only the PC version has made its way out. There is no word on the mobile versions, but I'd keep your eyes on your respective app stores if you're interested as I wouldn't be surprised if they followed close behind.

You can read our review of Forza Horizon 4 as well to know our thoughts on the previous entry in the series.

Take A Tour Of Star Wars Celebration: Day Four

My Final Day: The unwritten rule of Star Wars Celebration: When you get comfortable with stormtroopers walking next to you, it's time to go. I felt that way today. I didn't mind having Sith Lords wave to me or ewoks block my path. That all felt normal, which is a sensation that makes Star Wars Celebration special. Fans are here to celebrate in a variety of ways, many in elaborate cosplay costumes. They are as much a part of the event as Lucasfilm's big reveals.

My fourth day at the show was mostly uneventful, but I did finally get into the official Star Wars Store, which only had a 15-minute line during a panel. I was able to snag a few things (my favorite is the Sebulba shirt, which you'll see below). Otherwise, I walked around and made sure I saw everything of note.

Telltale Was Under “A Lot Of Pressure” To Duplicate The Walking Dead, Co-Founder Says

Telltale co-founder and former CEO Kevin Bruner recently spoke to us about the successes and downfalls of Telltale, as well as what led to its abrupt closure last year

Several problems existed internally at Telltale, including rampant crunch across the studio and stifled creativity. One of the major factors behind Telltale's limited risk-taking had to do with The Walking Dead's success.

Bruner explained that The Walking Dead, an award-winning game that helped put the developer on the map worldwide, was a "double-edged sword" for the studio. It brought great success but also unreasonable expectations and a cookie-cutter approach for subsequent games.

Yes she has returned.

Tiny Tina is a fan-favorite among many ever since she first appeared in Borderlands 2. Tina also had her own DLC, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. Burch brought life to Tiny Tina with excellent voice acting that fleshed out the young character's explosive personality.

Telltale Co-Founder On Studio's Crunch: "It Was Trial By Fire"

Telltale Co-Founder On Studio's Crunch:

According to Telltale co-founder and former CEO Kevin Bruner, who left the company in 2017, working at Telltale was a "trial by fire" because of how quick production cycles were.

While Telltale's episodic nature set it apart, especially early on, but its serialized nature led to game launches in rapid succession. At Telltale, the breakneck speed of the workflow kept crunch rampant through the studio.

It was commonplace for big modifications to be put into a game even just a week before it shipped, and many worked 80-hour work weeks, we were told by ex-Telltale narrative designer Emily Grace Buck. When we asked Bruner about crunch at the studio, he didn't deny it, but instead said that to keep the studio afloat, it was necessary.

Here Are The First Details For The Mandalorian, A Live-Action Star Wars TV Series

The Mandalorian, a live-action television series set in the Star Wars universe, will debut on Disney's new streaming service, Disney+, on November 12. We were given a brief tease of what to expect from the series during an hour-long panel at this year's Star Wars Celebration.

The panel began with a trio of familiar faces taking the stage to a roaring crowd. Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, the Mandalorian's creator, writer, and director Jon Favreau, and executive producer and director Dave Filoni came out to discuss their latest project.

"What could be more exciting than Dave Filoni directing live action?" Kennedy said. Filoni is known for his work on Star Wars animated shows like The Clone Wars and Rebels. Filoni and Favreau talked about their first time meeting each other at Skywalker Ranch. Favreau said that he was mixing Iron Man there, and Filoni was the first person to watch it. Filoni then brought in Favreau to be the first person to watch the first episode of The Clone Wars.

"The Way The Studio Was Shut Down Was Horrifying To Me" Says Telltale Co-Founder

about X hours ago from

Earlier this week, we published an investigative piece that delved deep into the circumstances leading to last year's closure of Telltale Games. One of the major voices in that story was Kevin Bruner, co-founder and former CEO of Telltale.

In our interview, Bruner candidly spoke about his thoughts on the shut down, saying he was disappointed and appalled with how it was handled. Bruner left the company in 2017 after being pushed out by board members (he also has a lawsuit against the company for financial damages), so he was not present during the majority studio closure.

"If I were an employee there, I would feel wronged, definitely," he says. "We’ll see what becomes of that. It’s tough now because there’s not much of a Telltale left to right the wrongs."
