Not content with just the Detective Pikachu movie, film studio Legendary has announced plans to create an adaptation of Kohei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia manga/anime. The popular manga tells the story of a young boy in a world where everyone has some kind of super power and his own struggles to be recognized as a hero.
The manga has been running since 2014 following a one-shot issue that Horikoshi had published a few years prior with a very different concept. The original pitch put protagonist Deku as an older salaryman who eventually got wrapped up in a superhero battle. When it finally started as a series in the weekly manga magazine Shonen Jump, Deku was a young teenager who joined the world's most prestigious superhero school.
Beyond announcing their intentions with it, Legendary did not provide many details. Executives Alex Garcia, who was announced in 2014 to be shepherding a Mass Effect film, and Jay Ashenfelter, best known for producing Pacific Rim Uprising, will be leading the charge on the movie for Legendary.

In a weirdly cryptic manner, Nerf has announced that they are partnering with Fortnite for presumably a line of guns based on the game's weaponry. Nerf says so in an Instagram post, simply showing the logos of both Nerf and Fortnite with the caption "Who's ready to add some gold to their loadout?"

During an earnings call today, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella discussed how the gaming landscape has improved for Microsoft and that the company plans to push forward and expand on that front. As such, Nadella confirmed plans to bring Microsoft's Game Pass service, currently only on Xbox One, to PC.
As it functions on Xbox One, Game Pass provides a subscription pass to over one hundred games on the system, with a mix of first-party and third-party titles. Earlier this year, Microsoft made the bold declaration that every first-party game would launch simultaneously on the service, letting players download and play titles on day one for the price of admission alone.
While Nadella did not detail what a PC expansion would look like, an easy guess would be a similar service model using Microsoft's Windows store. As part of Microsoft's Play Anywhere initiative, every first-party game is intended to release on PC as well as Xbox One, with digital versions being cross-compatible in terms of ownership. When considering that, and also adding in PC-exclusive titles like Age of Empires, the case for Game Pass on PC seems fairly logical.

A few weeks ago, Lego and Blizzard revealed the newest sets for the Lego universe based on Blizzard's team-based shooter Overwatch. While initially only Tracer and Bastion the robot turret-tank were shown, a set of listings leaked early from retailer Target has given us more pictures to check out, courtesy of Brothers Brick.
The new sets show Widowmaker, Hanzo, Genji, D.Va, and Reinhardt, along with vehicles and playsets to place them in. Check out the image gallery to scroll through.
I haven't been keeping up much on Lego or Overwatch lore, but it seems like Genji is chasing what appears to be Mr. Business from The Lego Movie, which I'm assuming is just the generic businessman for Lego stuff. Still, chasing businessmen with a sword should totally be a mode in the game if it's not being done already.
