Smash Bros. Director Says All The DLC For Ultimate Has Been Decided

Last week during the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct, series director Masahiro Sakurai introduced the first season of DLC by stating that five characters, which the team has not started work on yet, will come after the game has released. Sakurai introduced the season pass and apologized for being unable to announce the five characters yet. Today, he announced that those five characters have been chosen by Nintendo and basically ended discussion on the subject.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s DLC line-up is now complete. This time the selection was made entirely by Nintendo. I decide if we can create a fighter based on their selection, then come up with the plan.

It’s great to dream about your favorite character joining the battle and I appreciate your passion, but please try to stay on topic when replying to tweets and refrain from flooding us, and other users, with requests when we're not specifically asking for feedback. Thank you!

Take Your First Look At The NFL Skins In Fortnite

Take Your First Look At The NFL Skins In Fortnite

Why would you want to wear a dinosaur or pumpkin skin when you could represent your favorite football team instead? This is a strange question that Fortnite players will soon be asking themselves when the NFL skins appear in the game on November 9. Popular Fortnite players like Ninja showed them off during their livestreams today.

Ninja, who is a huge Detroit Lions fan, was decked out in the team's iconic silver and blue. When the skins are purchased, the player can select any team and number for any match. So if you start out by wearing a Miami Dolphins skin with the number 22, your next match could be as a Chicago Bear with number 45. The skins that are being sold feature three distinct looks for both male and female avatars.

As you can see from the image below, you can round out the football look with a goal post melee item.

Dystopian Adventure Rain Of Reflections Unveils First Gameplay Trailer

Swedish indie developer Lionbite Games released the first gameplay trailer for its dystopian adventure Rain of Reflections today. Using only in-engine footage, the trailer showcases the game's sleek, dystopian aesthetic while also introducing the core gameplay systems.

Along with voice-acted dialogue systems where players must weigh their decisions carefully, the game also incorporates puzzle solving minigames, turn-based strategy with a wide array of tactical options, and point-and-click exploration.

With the announcement of three chapters, the trailer sets up the events of the game’s first chapter, “Set Free,” which focuses on scientist Wilona, who works to uncover the mysteries behind humanity’s sudden infertility. When she begins to question the morality of her experiments, Wilona frees her test subject – the last born child, and must navigate opposing forces who seek to stop her.

'Voting in 2016 Vs. Voting In 2018' Tweets Gamers Will Appreciate

It's Election Day! Game Informer's Matt Miller wrote here about how and why gamers didn't make it to the polls in recent elections, but a popular meme sweeping through twitter might be a good indication that young voters are getting out this year. The "Voting in 2016 vs. Voting in 2018" meme is blowing up and giving voters a hilarious platform to express their thoughts on this election, and gaming culture is getting in on the action. Here are the best we have found:

I call this one "Toon to Terror."

You've got a little something on your face there.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey's November Update Brings New Story Content, Events, And More

Assassin's Creed Odyssey offers no shortage of quests and things to do, and that expansive well of content is get a little deeper. The free November update adds a bunch of interesting stuff mostly focusing on side content and gameplay tweaks. Along with a new Lost Tales of Greece questline, players can look forward to additional epic events, a battle against Steropes the Cyclops, new items, and several gameplay tweaks like a level cap increase.

The Lost Tales of Greece story unfolds in multiple parts, and will be marked as yellow side quests on your map. They won't appear until you reach Episode 5. These missions produce unique rewards and factor in player choice. The map will also contain the location of new epic battles against a mercenary and ship. Victory against these challenging foes will reward you with either new equipment or a new ship design, respectively. These events are for players that have reached level 30 or higher.

Some of the smaller touches in this update are the ability to auto-craft arrows, and the implementation of an extra visual layer for gear. As Ubisoft's official site says, "[the visual customization system] will allow you to combine the stats of one item and the appearance of another in the same slot."

Rockstar Working On Red Dead Redemption II's Missing Camper Bug

Rockstar Working On Red Dead Redemption II's Missing Camper Bug

If you've been playing Red Dead Redemption II, you may have noticed an issue in the game's second chapter, where people who should be important to the gang seem to not be available. While initially fans thought this was part of the game's realistic nature, allowing characters to live their own lives and do their own activities, it seems that it is a bug related to the progression of a quest.

“If you completed the mission ‘Polite Society, Valentine Style’ at the start of Chapter 2, but needed to use the Retry Checkpoint feature, then Sadie, Jack, John, and Abigail will only appear in camp when they have missions for you to complete,” writes Rockstar on the game's support site. “We are aware of the issue and are currently working on a fix to be included in an upcoming Title Update.”

If you haven't yet gotten to the point, Rockstar advises doing your best to do the mission in one go, since there is no word on when the title update fixing it may come.

Persona Dancing Games Get Demos Out Today On PS4

If you have been looking forward to the two newest Persona Dancing games, Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight, then you probably know that their release is imminent. The two separate rhythm games bring the Persona 3 and Persona 5 soundtracks with new arrangements to a dancing game using the characters. For fans of Persona 4 Dancing All Night, you already know how the game plays, but for everyone else, two demos have been released on PS4 to help familiarize yourself with your Persona music delivery system.

The demo, which is only available in the U.S., takes you through four tracks each from the games' soundtracks. During the track, Persona characters dance choreographed numbers to the music, including fan favorites like Mitsuru, Joker, and more. Check out the demo trailer below.

Curiously, the demo is not set to be released in regions other than North America until December 11, which is after the game's worldwide release date. So if you live in Europe, you will need to wait another month if you're still on the fence.
