Punisher, Blade, Morbius, And Moon Knight Come To Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Today

The first downloadable content pack for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is out now. Marvel Knights: Curse of the Vampire adds four popular characters to the game's already-massive roster of playable heroes. The pack is out now as a part of the title's Expansion Pass.

Curse of the Vampire adds Punisher, Blade, Moon Knight, and Morbius to fight alongside the likes of Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man, Wolverine, and more. Those who purchased the Expansion Pass can also play a new mode: Gauntlet. In Gauntlet mode, you can join a team of four co-op players to tackle challenges one after the other to earn rewards. Once you beat Gauntlet, you unlock a survival version of the mode where you see how long you can last and where you land on the global leaderboards.

This first DLC pack launches alongside a free update for every Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 player. The free update adds new outfits for Captain America, Black Panther, Iron Man, and Thor, which you can see below. In addition, players who think they're worthy of a new challenge can attempt to play through story missions in a new "Nightmare" difficulty mode.

Upcoming Pokémon Anime Series Will Introduce A New Hero Alongside Ash

Step aside Ash, there's a new Pokémon trainer in town. Famitsu is reporting that the new Pokémon anime series (called Pocket Monsters in Japan) will feature a new hero who will be training alongside Ash, marking the first time that two characters will be front and center. The new trainer's name translates to Go, and he's 10 years in age. Ash obviously still relies on Pikachu as his go-to Pokémon, whereas Go is a bit more modern, selecting Scorbunny from the upcoming Pokémon Sword and Shield games as his main.

The animated series debuts in Japan on November 17 on TV Tokyo. Odds are it will make its way stateside in the months ahead.

Death Stranding's Baby Will Communicate Through PlayStation 4's Controller

Hideo Kojima revealed on Twitter that Death Stranding's baby will be right next to the player, at least it's voice will. The baby, called a BB in the game, will likely make all sorts of cute and not-so-cute sounds from the canister that protagonist Sam carries with him. Those sounds will be projected through the controller, if the player needs it as a setting.

Kojima's Tweet makes it sound like this is a feature that is tied specifically to the special edition Death Stranding controller (pictured above) which comes with the PlayStation 4 bundle, but there's a chance it may work with every PlayStation 4 controller

Death Stranding is just a month away now, releasing on November 8. If you pick up the game, will you have BB's voice come out of the controller?

The third season also brings a new Battle Pass and more. Check out the second season 3 trailer above to see just how dynamic this new map is. The geysers and train should create hectic firefights.

Spider-Man Is Returning To The MCU As Disney And Sony Strike A Deal

Sony and Disney announced today the two companies have come to terms to keep Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a third solo film. The news comes following last month's announcement that Sony and Marvel parent company Disney could not strike a deal to keep the webslinger, which has been licensed to Sony for two decades, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe alongside the Avengers.

According to Variety's report, the deal was finalized last night, with the likes of Sony Pictures chairman Tom Rothman, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, and Walt Disney Studios co-chairs Alan Horn and Alan Bergman involved in the negotiations. Originally, Disney sought a 50/50 financing deal, which Sony rejected, causing the initial rift in August. According to the report, the new deal will see Disney lending Feige, the chief architect of the MCU, as producer in exchange for approximately 25 percent of profits from the film. Disney will also keep its merchandising rights and finance around 25 percent of the film.

Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond Takes The Franchise To VR

Respawn announced today that the revered Medal of Honor franchise is returning with a VR title, Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, exclusive to the Rift. As an allied agent with the OSS, you'll travel to many important WWII locations across Europe to bring down the Nazis.

Embracing the potential and power of VR, the experience appears to be a tactile one – you'll heal by mimiking the motion of jamming needles into your body, pull the pins off grenades and throw them with real velocity (no crosshairs or big circles show you where it's landing!), and pick up guns from the battlefield. Learn more in the video below!

A full story gallery gives players context to the game's real-world inspirations and showcases settings and environments with commentary from veterans of WWII.

150 Hours Went Into Recreating The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past In Dragon Quest Builders 2

Just as Nintendo remastered The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening for Switch, an ambitious player recreated The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past within Dragon Quest Builders 2. Everyone apparently has Zelda on the brain these days.

The player of note is BenXC, who uploaded a trailer for this ambitious project onto YouTube. Ben says the world building took over 150 hours spread across half of a year. Over 300,000 blocks were placed by hand to recreate the cities and Death Mountain, and over 2,500 trees were planted to replicate the wilderness. If you want to tour Ben's creation in Dragon Quest Builders 2, enter this Island ID: npyrd8ZJVM.

Civilization VI Is Coming To PlayStation 4 And Xbox One In November

Firaxis has announced Civilization VI will also be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 22. Game Informer's Ben Reeves reviewed Civilization VI on PC in 2016, and said "Firaxis' newest entry in the Civilization series isn't a game changer, because the game was already great. However, Civilization VI could easily be the pinnacle of the series." Console players will now get the chance to see why this game got a 9.5 out of 10 rating.

The core game along offers a dizzying amount of content, but players who want more can also buy an expansion bundle that includes the Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm expansions. Rise and Fall makes each of your choices matter, as they will sway the loyalty of your people. Gathering Storm brings natural disasters like volcanic eruptions and storms that can unexpectedly create chaos in your cities.

Here's hoping the port is respectable, as Civilization has long been one of gaming's premiere series.
